Blushing ~ Lucid Express ~ Puppy Angst ~ Queasy

**All shows 21+—valid ID required**Doors: 7 PMShow: 7:30 PMBlushingBlushing features two husband and wife duos consisting of Michelle Soto (guitar, vocals), Jacob Soto (drums), Christina Carmona (vocals, bass), and Noe Carmona (guitar). Jacob and Noe have been lifelong friends that played in bands growing up in El Paso, TX, though they both moved to Austin around 2009, meeting their wives there coincidentally at the same bar (Side Bar). “Naturally all four of us became close friends.” As Michelle was learning guitar, her natural talent to write music started to emerge, creating vocal melodies and guitar parts in her bedroom. Christina, already a classically trained singer, was recruited by Michelle to lend her vocal talents and soon grabbed a bass, taught herself to play and joined in to help solidify the songs. Soon Jacob and Noe began to notice how much potential the songs had so they joined in on a practice session to help flesh out guitar, drums and vocals. From there the husbands never left the group, and Blushing was formed. Their natural chemistry and like- minded musical influences helped solidify their ongoing writing process. The band released their first EP “Tether” in 2017, followed by their EP “Weak” in 2018 with Austin Town Hall Records, and most recently their sold-out, debut self-titled LP “Blushing” on Wallflower Records in 2019.https://www.blushingmusic.com/ Lucid ExpressLucid Express are five young dreamers creating a stunningly airy blend of shoegaze and indie pop amongst Hong Kong’s skyscrapers, mountains, and packed alleyways. Meltt ~ Depression, Mom

**All events 21+ — valid ID required for entry**Doors: 7:00 pmShow: 7:30 pmMELTTMeltt is a collection of four multi-instrumentalists sonically painting their own dreamscapes with psychedelic-guitars, swelling-synthesizers, powerful-drums, and ethereal-vocals. Currently falling somewhere in the category of indie/ psych- rock, the band has been praised for their combination of heavy riffs, colourful instrumentation, detail oriented production, and multi-layered song- writing. With an equal love for the blissfully tripped out and the powerfully crunchy corners of music, a Meltt album or show is designed to transport the listener to spaces they have only previously dreamt of. They are currently putting the finishing touches on their second album which they hope to release in Spring of 2022.https://open.spotify.com/artist/2iHrc69sZgyWFBAhLpS3oH?si=RJwbir6nQQOYhNhsAHi9cw&nd=1 DEPRESSION, MOMDepression, Mom is a band from Philadelphia formed in 2020 by singer songwriter Madalean Gauze. Howlin Rain ~ Jeffrey Alexander and the Heavy Lidders

**All events 21+ – valid ID required for entry**Doors: 7 PMShow: 7:30 PMHOWLIN’ RAINOver nearly 20 years, Howlin Rain may have become the quintessential independent American rock ’n roll band: a steam-spitting Hydra of cranked guitars, kicking asphalt dust through a kaleidoscoping travelogue of desert motels and dives, volleying forth transmissions of sci-fi poetry from the blacktop veins of this cracked and aching country. Now, in America 2021, capping this strangest and sorest of times, the band returns with The Dharma Wheel, a six-track, 52-minute dive into a joyous fantasy realm of exaggerated present. “I wanted The Dharma Wheel to be a portal from our everyday world, the one from which you stand on hard ground and hold the album in your hands and peer into the artwork, and into another universe,” says songwriter, guitarist and vocalist, Ethan Miller. “You enter into that universe with your eyes and ears and mind and take a ride through free-form meditation on these ideas — from big, fundamental concepts about our existence right down to the grease that rolls down the arm of a pulp novel killer as he eats a gas station hot dog in an old Dodge in an alleyway.” Lyrically, Miller has completed his evolution into a mushroom-plucking Whitman of the West, singing outlandish tales in a topographic blend of Humbead’s Revised Map of the World and an inverted U.S. where downtrodden bodhisattvas roam the back streets and moonless country roads.JEFFREY ALEXANDER AND THE HEAVY LIDDERSFounding member of The Iditarod in 1996, Black Forest/Black Sea in 2003 and Dire Wolves in 2008.
