Jay Johnson ~ Three Yards To Dover ~ Elison Jackson

**All shows 21+—valid ID required** Doors: 7:00 PM Show: 7:30 PM Jay Johnson feat. Over The CounterOver The Counter is a NJ-based collective of eight singers, songwriters, and musicians involved with each other’s projects.  Backing Jay Johnson’s 60s-inspired love songs, the collective rocks a groovy modern take on peace, love, and flower power reminiscent of the Grateful Dead, CSNY, and the psychedelic California sound.  Come for the vocal harmonies, stay for the dancing, and spread the sunshine. Three Yards To DoverThree Yards To Dover is an indie/folk rock quartet based in Philadelphia.  Founded by longtime friends James Bischoff, Jay Johnson, and Ryan Jordan, the group draws inspiration from a range of styles including classic Americana and The Beatles to modern folk groups like The Head and The Heart and Lord Huron.  3Y2D released their debut EP, Cherry Blossoms in March 2021 and will release their next single, Wildfire, Friday, January 27th.  Another single, Goodbye Song, and their sophomore EP will follow this spring! Elison JacksonElison Jackson is a band from Philadelphia, PA. Though the band has had a rotating membership since it’s 2010 start, the core of the group is singer-songwriter Sam Perduta and bassist/ keyboardist Greg Perault. They’ve released several albums and singles over their 10-year existence. Their latest release, “Good Deeds”, was recorded over several months in 2019 in North Philadelphia at Uniform Recording, and was engineered, produced, and mixed by Jeff Zeigler (War on Drugs, Kurt Vile, Laraaji, Mary Lattimore, Gargia Peoples), with Perduta and Perault playing almost all of the instruments (except drums, which was played by Chad Brown of West Philly Orchestra, and singing saw and clarinet by Jordan Burgis). Pieced together over several sessions, the album is the heaviest and rawest Elison Jackson release yet, while still maintaining the masterful lyrics and evocative atmosphere of previous Elison Jackson material.

‘akhi huna ~ The Pom Poms

**All shows 21+—valid ID required**Doors: 7 PMShow: 7:30 PM’akhi huna’akhi huna is a Neo-Tropical duo from Sobradinho, Distrito Federal, Brazil formed by brothers Mansur JP and Dila Caju. In 2020, after living on separate continents, the brothers reunited in Brazil to kick off this project. As first-generation Lebanese Brazilians, the brothers pay ode to their roots with their stage name ‘akhi huna — an Arabic phrasing for “my brother is here”.  The group has released two mixtapes, “Aleluiá” (October 2020) and “Várzea Mini Jumbo” (April 2021). Their sound transits between the timelessness of Clube da Esquina’s songs, the cosmic funk of Jorge Ben, the retrofuturism of Daft Punk, and the deep melodies of Djavan. The first single released by ‘akhi huna, summertime sobrado, was highlighted by the New York magazine Remezcla.Spotify The Pom PomsThe Pom-Poms is an explosive dance project by prolific artists and married couple Kitty (née Kitty Pryde) and Sam Ray (Ricky Eat Acid, Teen Suicide). Though their music has been classified as “dance” and “hyperpop”, The Pom-Poms tend to shy away from genre labels. Their 2018 debut “The Pom-Poms’ EP” and 2019 follow-up “I Was On The News” have been featured on numerous official playlists from Spotify and Apple Music. Recently, The Pom-Poms single “Watch Me” has been featured in commercials for Marshalls as well as Mindy Kaling’s “Sex Lives of College Girls” and Hulu original film “Not Okay”. With biting lyrics, mercurial instrumentals and day-glo imagery, The Pom-Poms create euphoric performance art aimed towards blurring the gender binary and quite literally cheerleading the revolution.

Blushing ~ Lucid Express ~ Puppy Angst ~ Queasy

**All shows 21+—valid ID required**Doors: 7 PMShow: 7:30 PMBlushingBlushing features two husband and wife duos consisting of Michelle Soto (guitar, vocals), Jacob Soto (drums), Christina Carmona (vocals, bass), and Noe Carmona (guitar). Jacob and Noe have been lifelong friends that played in bands growing up in El Paso, TX, though they both moved to Austin around 2009, meeting their wives there coincidentally at the same bar (Side Bar). “Naturally all four of us became close friends.” As Michelle was learning guitar, her natural talent to write music started to emerge, creating vocal melodies and guitar parts in her bedroom. Christina, already a classically trained singer, was recruited by Michelle to lend her vocal talents and soon grabbed a bass, taught herself to play and joined in to help solidify the songs. Soon Jacob and Noe began to notice how much potential the songs had so they joined in on a practice session to help flesh out guitar, drums and vocals. From there the husbands never left the group, and Blushing was formed. Their natural chemistry and like- minded musical influences helped solidify their ongoing writing process. The band released their first EP “Tether” in 2017, followed by their EP “Weak” in 2018 with Austin Town Hall Records, and most recently their sold-out, debut self-titled LP “Blushing” on Wallflower Records in 2019. Lucid ExpressLucid Express are five young dreamers creating a stunningly airy blend of shoegaze and indie pop amongst Hong Kong’s skyscrapers, mountains, and packed alleyways. Originally formed as Thud. AngstIt’s like puppy love but a lil more sad.  Shoegazy/noisy/dream pop.  Kind of fun, kind of a bummer. a bunch of doofs goofin.

Meltt ~ Depression, Mom

**All events 21+ — valid ID required for entry**Doors: 7:00 pmShow: 7:30 pmMELTTMeltt is a collection of four multi-instrumentalists sonically painting their own dreamscapes with psychedelic-guitars, swelling-synthesizers, powerful-drums, and ethereal-vocals. Currently falling somewhere in the category of indie/ psych- rock, the band has been praised for their combination of heavy riffs, colourful instrumentation, detail oriented production, and multi-layered song- writing. With an equal love for the blissfully tripped out and the powerfully crunchy corners of music, a Meltt album or show is designed to transport the listener to spaces they have only previously dreamt of. They are currently putting the finishing touches on their second album which they hope to release in Spring of 2022. DEPRESSION, MOMDepression, Mom is a band from Philadelphia formed in 2020 by singer songwriter Madalean Gauze. The band draws inspiration from The Virgin Suicides and Girl, Interrupted. The band consists of Adam Shumski (Vita and the Woolf/ The Lunar Year) and Ali Dundovic (The Madalean Gauze Band). Howlin Rain ~ Jeffrey Alexander and the Heavy Lidders

**All events 21+ – valid ID required for entry**Doors: 7 PMShow: 7:30 PMHOWLIN’ RAINOver nearly 20 years, Howlin Rain may have become the quintessential independent American rock ’n roll band: a steam-spitting Hydra of cranked guitars, kicking asphalt dust through a kaleidoscoping travelogue of desert motels and dives, volleying forth transmissions of sci-fi poetry from the blacktop veins of this cracked and aching country. Now, in America 2021, capping this strangest and sorest of times, the band returns with The Dharma Wheel, a six-track, 52-minute dive into a joyous fantasy realm of exaggerated present. “I wanted The Dharma Wheel to be a portal from our everyday world, the one from which you stand on hard ground and hold the album in your hands and peer into the artwork, and into another universe,” says songwriter, guitarist and vocalist, Ethan Miller. “You enter into that universe with your eyes and ears and mind and take a ride through free-form meditation on these ideas — from big, fundamental concepts about our existence right down to the grease that rolls down the arm of a pulp novel killer as he eats a gas station hot dog in an old Dodge in an alleyway.” Lyrically, Miller has completed his evolution into a mushroom-plucking Whitman of the West, singing outlandish tales in a topographic blend of Humbead’s Revised Map of the World and an inverted U.S. where downtrodden bodhisattvas roam the back streets and moonless country roads.JEFFREY ALEXANDER AND THE HEAVY LIDDERSFounding member of The Iditarod in 1996, Black Forest/Black Sea in 2003 and Dire Wolves in 2008. Joined JOMF in 2013. Started The Heavy Lidders in 2019. Former label owner of Magic Eye Singles and Secret Eye Records.
