Doors: 6:00 PM Show: 7:00 PMYoung MedicineRising synthwave rockers Young Medicine pull the best from diverse genres to build a carefully constructed music identity that defies simple categorization. Thumping double-bass beats and crunchy guitar riffs hammer out hard-hitting rhythms while chorus lines partner with sparking retro synth tones for a stunning mix of audio ideas. If synthwave and metal got together and started a boy band, the result might sound something like Young Medicine, who have put themselves on the map as pioneers for a new era by bringing rockstar swagger to the retrowave movement.Danny BluDanny Blu is a dark electro-pop act based in New York City. An electrifying, hybrid powerhouse, he bridges the sounds of industrial and pop through “infectious hooks” and serves up an expansive pop exhibition of fashion, video, and art.  Dubbed as the “industrial pop idol” and featured on Billboard, Alternative Press, The Huffington Post, NewNowNext amongst many others; Danny Blu began his career with stunning shock-rock performances in queer nightlife leading to the formation of the band, Echo Black. After an album and several North American tours, Blu debuted his first solo single, “Bubble”, on Billboard Pride. The release of his first EP, “The Pale Horse” would storm the scene with provocative sex-positive singles & music videos and livestream shows throughout 2020. Enlisting the talents of producers MORIS BLAK and Walter Kazmier with the release of his sophomore EP, “MOLOTOV” on SHVDOW Records, Danny Blu solidified himself as “a force to be reckoned with”. In 2023, Blu embarked on his first co-headline tour with MORIS BLAK on “The American Dream Tour” — astonishing audiences nationwide.

Dead On A Sunday ~ Night Spins ~ Llynks

AGE RESTRICTION: Only Ages 21+ can purchase tickets for this show. NO REFUNDS/EXCHANGES for anyone underage who purchases or attempts to use these tickets. Doors: 7:00 PM Show: 7:30 PMDEAD ON A SUNDAYDarkwave rock from the city of Denver, Colorado, Dead On A Sunday’s live show is dangerously electric and emotion wrenching incorporating theatrical make up and at times orchestral instrumentation. The project began to see success quickly after serveral TIKTOK posts reached viral status, the most popular comparing Ryan’s vocals to those of Bob Belcher from the popular Fox TV show Bob’s Burgers which fans have dubbed the term “bob-core” as a description of the band’s sound. The trending viral videos have amassed several millions of views to date and have boosted Dead On A Sunday’s profile to developing an active following of dark music lovers as well as shinning light on the artist’s debut LP as well as the recently released “Things To Do In Denver When You’re Dead” EP. Dead On A Sunday was formed in early 2021 by artist/producer Ross Ryan. After years of touring under another moniker on the electronic music circuit, Ryan felt a calling back to his roots in dark-rock based music. Having never sung in a project before, he tried his hand at lead vocals (as well as performing, writing, producing and mixing all the music for the project). The result was Dead On A Sunday’s first single “So What If It Kills Me”. The track was released in August of 2021 with several singles to follow over the next year. The debut “Strange Days” was released in October of 2022 (a body of 12 songs Ryan had been curating over the past 18 months).https://open.spotify.com/artist/2y19rzmHIF4YOLHm7AW0pl?si=wdfmHEe2SBum-X5fP9MCtA&dl_branch=1&nd=1NIGHT SPINShttps://nightspins.bandcamp.com/LlynksSPOTIFY // IG

New Desires Dance Party featuring N8NOFACE

AGE RESTRICTION: Only Ages 21+ can purchase tickets for this show. NO REFUNDS/EXCHANGES for anyone underage who purchases or attempts to use these tickets. Doors: 10:00 PM Show: 10:30 PM New Desires is a new dance party that encompasses modern post-punk, dream pop & darkwave. Music and Visuals curated by DJ Paul T (DJSC/Night Drive)  https://www.instagram.com/djscphilly/?hl=enN8NOFACEHe’s been described as a Chicano Flannery O’Connor playing chiptune Ministry, the Sleaford Mods of the American Southwest, Suicide for the 21st Century and Ghostmane meets darkwave synthpunk dashed with early Ween’s glue-huffing pop. Lyrically, his sometimes romantic, oftentimes violent storytelling tunes lean toward Narcocorrido, the bloody ballads of Mexican drug cartels. It sounds dark on the surface, but really N8NOFACE’s music is a lot of fun, and as exciting and cathartic as the birth of punk rock and hiphop.  Nate, or N8, NOFACE is animated and all over the map when he speaks. But, he always gets straight to the point, just like his music. His songs often clock in around 1-minute long, typically abruptly ending before even repeating a chorus. The songs are built around a few stark, evocative mantra-like lines about life’s struggles over a simple, hummable hook. That he’s so prolific with these 50-60 second dark pop masterpieces is astonishing. “If you can’t explain it simply you don’t know what you’re talking about,” he says.  “I do scream rap, but after that I might pick up a banjo and do outlaw country,” N8 says, discussing the multiple personalities of his music. “I want to do it all. I am a little bit of everything, why can’t I use every frequency to tell those stories?” He’s been making and posting glitchy synthpunk since the days of MySpace, when he first gained attention in chiptune duo Crimekillz. Even before the demise of that band, however, N8NOFACE was disseminating his dadaist lo-fi rants online, recording them on the cheap on his home computer setup. “Even to this day, everything I do is recorded in my closet,” he says. “I’ve never recorded at a studio. My goal was always to try to make these genres with the gear that I have, which comes from hip hop. I just do it the wrong way and it comes out my sound.”

Vision Video ~ NITE ~ Activity

**All shows 21+ — valid ID required**Doors: 6:30 PMShow: 7:30 PMVISION VIDEOAs an active paramedic, firefighter, and veteran of the war in Afghanistan, Vision Video lead Dusty Gannon has seen more horror in real life than in the classic movies he draws inspiration from. When not saving lives on the front-line, Dusty dons torn fishnets, combat boots and makeup to play post-punk that recalls the genre’s heyday when the lines between goth and pop blurred to create some of the underground’s most beloved acts such as The Cure, The Smiths and Joy Division. But hidden within Vision Video’s catchy hooks and dancy beats is a nostalgic yet desperate message exploring the darker undertones of our existence. At its core, Inked In Red looks inward to understand the effects of war and the global pandemic. Dusty’s experiences in service have imparted an authentic gravitas to the music, revealing a cautionary tale of unhinged mental illness born of trauma. Sonically, this is reflected in every chord and melody through its enticingly gothic yet often upbeat nature. Vision Video’s debut imparts a duality of mania that, simply stated, is real malaise and existential dread that cannot be made facsimile. https://visionvideoband.com/NITENITE is an electronic rock band from Dallas, Texas.https://nite.bandcamp.com/ACTIVITYWe are friends and we’re working on album 2. Jay Aston’s Gene Loves Jezebel ~ Bootblacks ~ Rosegarden Funeral Party

*All events are 21+ valid ID required for entry*7 PM Doors7:30 PM ShowJAY ASTON’S GENE LOVES JEZEBELFor a band to stay relevant across decades is unusual — but to do so with much of the same line-up for most of that time is exceptional.  Such is the case with Gene Loves Jezebel, which indicates that these musicians come together not only out of an appreciation for the memorable music they create, but also because they truly like and respect each other.  Jay Aston (vocals), James Stevenson (guitars), Pete Rizzo (bass) and Chris Bell (drums) — with Peter Walsh producing — have created extraordinary GLJ songs for 30 years now.  With their new album, they honour that legacy by expanding it.https://genelovesjezebel.co.uk/BOOTBLACKSBrooklyn post-punk.http://www.bootblacks.net/ROSEGARDEN FUNERAL PARTYRising from the inferno of heartbreak with a determination towards gentility, humility, graciousness, and kindness, Rosegarden Funeral Party takes influence from life’s tragedies and spins chaos into beauty. Leah Lane fronts the band with a voice like that of the lovechild between Morrissey and Siouxsie Sioux and her guitar playing has been compared to that of Daniel Ash. with bass playing that takes obvious inspiration from Peter Hook. With synths trapped in the loving arms of the 1980’s, rhythmic percussion and drums inspired by dark dance floors, Rosegarden Funeral Party prove to be the second-coming of traditional goth.https://www.rosegardenfuneralparty.com/
