My Familiar blends raw emotion with soulful indie rock, threading folk, grit, and guts into every song. Based in Philly, we write music that hits where it hurts and heals. Harmonies, violins, and big feelings.
Trumpet Wom’
TWom combines trumpet, piano, and singing into original songwriting that sounds something like Nina Simone meets David Bowie. She studied with Chris Grekker at the University of Maryland where she received a Bachelor’s of Music in Trumpet Performance in 2008.
TIOGA
Cultivated in the eternal city of Brotherly Love, TIOGA creates music that sounds like if Jack Antonoff and Brandon Flowers went to a karaoke bar and sang Talking Heads songs until they got kicked out and then mumbled David Bowie songs to themselves on the walk home. The group marries their meaningful lyricism and endearing style of alternative indie with a hearty bass and danceable synth-pop sound.
