Deadyellow is a post-black metal band from New Jersey formed summer 2020. A distinctive blend of beauty and brutality, the music is inspired by post-rock and discordant black metal, with incorporations of shoegaze and dark ambient noise. In reference to the aura of rot and decay, and reflecting the hues of earth, Deadyellow lends realization to the motif of darkness and melancholy. Lyrics explore themes of death, loss, philosophy, and self-identity, often drawing on personal experiences and emotions.
