Frankie and the Witch Fingers

Population II

Wax Jaw

Population II is a band dedicated to its disengagement, constantly working on refining their imposing, yet unpretentious sound. A trio consisting of singer/drummer Pierre-Luc Gratton, guitarist/keyboardist Tristan Lacombe and bassist Sébastien Provençal, Population II are masters at both improvised madness and sophisticated composition, delivering heavy psychedelic rock infused with feverish funk rhythms, a hint of jazz philosophy, a burst of energy reminiscent of punk's early days, and a love of minor scales that harkens back to the roots of heavy metal.
Los Angeles psych-punk shapeshifters Frankie and the Witch Fingers have spent the last decade mutating their sound into bold, electrifying new forms. Their latest release, Trash Classic (via Greenway Records and The Reverberation Appreciation Society), plunges into a sewer-slick fusion of proto-punk venom, fractured new wave, and industrial grime. Brimming with wiry synths, angular melodies, and grooves that squirm and bite, it’s all delivered with a sly, playful wink. Fueled by relentless global touring and a fierce DIY ethos, the band has shared stages with OFF!, Ty Segall, Oh Sees, Cheap Trick, and ZZ Top, cementing their place as one of the most unforgettable live acts around. Frankie and the Witch Fingers continue to morph, dragging listeners into whatever warped direction their experimental journey takes next.
Wax Jaw was born out of the summer-time daydreams and blossoming friendship of Greg Blanc (bass) and Sean Vannata (guitar). The pair immediately shared a vision of writing lively, upbeat songs that would energize listeners and leave fans buzzing after their live shows. They could not have predicted how fast Wax Jaw would climb the rungs of an expansive Philly music scene following the release of their debut EP Between the Teeth in October 2023.

A formidable opening statement from the band, Between the Teeth is a collection of catchy punk tunes – most of which have been sun-kissed with surfy guitar tones and permeated with new wave danceability. The release was immediately picked up by Abandon Everything Records and followed up with multiple sold out shows at home and on the road while touring in the U.S. and Canada.

Buzz surrounding the band is fueled by their high-octane live shows, where it’s not unusual for members to dive into the crowd after taking command of the stage with a fierce and unbridled tenacity. Whether fans want to dance or thrash, Wax Jaw brings enough raw energy and BPM to get the blood pumping. Led by charismatic frontman Shane Morgan, the band has already cut their teeth alongside psych-rock titans Wine Lips, brit-punk royalty Bad Nerves, and indie angels Shannon and the Clams.

Wax Jaw is diligently writing and recording their highly anticipated first full-length LP. They will be playing a handful of shows this spring, bringing their crazed energy with them as always.

Wax Jaw is Shane Morgan (vocals), Sean Vannata (guitar), George Fenton (guitar), Greg Blanc (bass), and Ben Manning (drums).
