Shelf Life
Multi-instrumentalist, frequent sideman, sound engineer, and songwriter Scotty Leitch fashions warm, ambling indie country-rock with his quasi-acoustic solo project Shelf Life. Hailing from Coatesville, Pennsylvania and based in Philadelphia, Leitch formed the short-lived acoustic band Pirouette in 2006, followed by the math rock-leaning Little Pirouettes in the early 2010s, amid regular work in other bands. Using the moniker Shelf Life, he’s released over 20 albums starting with 2013’s Facing the Right Way at the Wrong Time. The follow up to his most recent album MTV, VH1 is set to be released in September.
