TWRP: Digital Nightmare 2024 Tour

ALL AGES Doors: 7:00 PM Show: 8:00 PMTWRPDial-up internet? Social media? Mobile cellular telephones? Somebody get us out of this Digital Nightmare! This Spring, join TWRP in their decades-late exploration of technology, as they ask all of the wrong questions, aimlessly fumble through deep concepts related to The Computer Era, and perform their genre-blurring synth-rock music across North America. The sound of the future as imagined in the 1980s. The nostalgic theme song to your favourite childhood cartoon that may have never existed. The hopefulness of someone from the future describing the utopia of tomorrow. Like a paradox of time travel, TWRP is all of these things and yet none of them. This optimistic fascination with the future, grounded in the nostalgia of the past, is what has shaped TWRP. They are the product of many eclectic styles and eras, crafted into something simultaneously playful, heartfelt, and tongue-in-cheek, all delivered with self-aware bombast and an uncommon musical precision. Old funk, modern electronic, and classic rock converge in their science fiction universe, as if Earth, Wind & Fire, Justice, and Casiopeia provided the soundtrack to a 80s cult classic film directed by John Carpenter.Trey MagnifiqueNelward

The Dead Pockets ~ The Cospirals ~ Sean C Smyth

AGE RESTRICTION: Only Ages 21+ can purchase tickets for this show. NO REFUNDS/EXCHANGES for anyone underage who purchases or attempts to use these tickets. Doors: 7:00 PM Show: 7:30 PM The Dead Pockets The Dead Pockets are a Rock band from Philly, PA. They have gone through a couple lineup changes before solidifying their present band members. James Morozin (Lead Singer), Johnny Brennan (Bass), Matt Kelly (Guitar), Chuck Haegele (Guitar), and Bill Carley (Drums). The band started with two cousins Chuck and Johnny looking for other musicians to jam with, they found Matt on craigslist and Bill from an older band. This lineup stayed the same, but finding the right singer was the hard part. Until, James with no prior singing experience asked to step in and he was the guy for the job! They have since gained a small presence on social media with their “Lodi” cover by CCR on youtube, and from their first live show. They have a good setlist of original tunes and are headed to the studio in November to record their first ever EP. They enjoy playing and writing in the style of older, retro rock but like to put their own modern twist on their songs. Some of their influences are the Rolling Stones, Kings of Leon, CCR, and The Guess Who.https://open.spotify.com/artist/6g10P5Bw3OrFOLI3V8SY67The CospiralsCospirals are a cosmic country rock band that formed in Lehigh Valley, Pa in 2023. Pieces of Philly bands and solo projects relocated and combined to blend psych, surf, blues and twang. Their setlist includes songs from their frontman, Ebb Flynn’s, solo EP and new songs slated for a 2024 release of their own. Sean C Smyth

Rosie Tucker ~ Rachel Reale

AGE RESTRICTION: Only Ages 21+ can purchase tickets for this show. NO REFUNDS/EXCHANGES for anyone underage who purchases or attempts to use these tickets. Doors: 7:00 PM Show: 7:30 PMROSIE TUCKERRosie Tucker is a born songwriter, an evocative vocalist, an accomplished rock instrumentalist, and a funny gender-queer art weirdo serving up truly fresh indie rock with an ear for the long queer lineage of politically conscious singer-poets like The Indigo Girls, Ani Difranco, Tracy Chapman, and Glenn Copeland. The songs that make up Tucker’s fourth LP, Utopia Now! are career-defining, aiming to make a watermark high above most every other songwriter in their genre. Written solely by Tucker (with the exception of “Eternal Life”, a cover of an evocative recent Numero Group unearthing) and produced entirely by Tucker and longtime collaborator Wolfy, this most recent effort is both a homespun labor of love and a hi-fi, creatively ambitious swing for the fences. Recorded at their home studio in Altadena in between walking the dog and watching campy art films, Tucker’s latest album is a beautiful snapshot in time, a picture of healing from the isolation of both the global pandemic and the atomization of artists. Spotify RACHEL REALE Rachel Reale is the kind of singer/songwriter who isn’t afraid to tell it like it is. Inspired by artistslike Fiona Apple and Lana Del Rey, her music is lyrically driven, with her strong, assured voiceat the forefront of her sound. Her alternative baroque-pop sound paints a colorful image of anexpansive, vivid inside world. Rachel uses her music to capture the sound of the humanexperience- a passionate, delicate, contemplative and wildly emotional thing. Rachel’s latestsingle, “The Real World,” was released in May.
