Bad Planning ~ Another One Down ~ Stay Up Late

**All shows 21+—valid ID required**Doors: 7:00 PMShow: 7:30 PMBAD PLANNINGWith a sound that encompasses equal amounts hardcore, emo, skate punk, and pop-punk, Bad Planning is a band that truly does things their own way.The newest recruits of Jump Start Records have been writing together since they were freshmen in high school. Now all these years later, the band is still booking their own shows, playing gigs with some of their favorite bands, and making a name for themselves in the midwest.Bad Planning writes with a sound that runs in the same vein as their fellow Chicago-based influences such as Rise Against, Alkaline Trio, and The Lawrence Arms. In 2019 they released “Splitting Hairs” alongside Chicago band A Semester Abroad, bringing on a heavier side with singles “Be Brave” and “Actors”.The four-piece, consisting of Alex Crook, Jack Coombs, Kevin Levonyak and Laurence Bactat, teamed up with Jump Start Records in May 2021 sharing a strong DIY ethos and love for punk rock. The band looks to continue playing shows in and outside of their local scene, developing their sound for future releases.MusicANOTHER ONE DOWNRhode Island based pop-punk act Another One Down! has continually proven themselves to be a driving force within the New England music scene, perfect blend of hard-hitting pop-punk and emotional alternative rock. With the recent release of their emotionally raw debut full length record A Bitter Descent, the band has proven themselves to be one of the most exciting and fresh acts to come out in the current state of pop-punk.
BandcampSTAY UP LATEStay Up Late is a rock band based in Philadelphia, PA. The band consists of Ivan Shlyk (guitar/vocals), Val Pivchenko (guitar/vocals), Ricky Garcia (bass/vocals), and Mike Preston (drums).Stay Up Late’s story began in Minsk, Belarus around 2015, when Ivan and Val met in the comments section of latter’s cover of “Therapy” by All Time Low. They bonded over their mutual love of pop punk, Guinness and psilocybin and began writing songs and playing local shows. The band was gaining momentum and even opened two shows for Our Last Night, playing for 1000 people on both nights, but due to the unstable political situation in Belarus, the duo moved to the United States and settled in Philadelphia. There, they reunited with their old friend Ricky Garcia, who helped the band with lyrics and took on the role of bassist for the band; as well as met local drummer Mike Preston, best known for being a member of Hollow Pledge.Currently, Stay Up Late is performing shows in the northeastern US and working on the debut album, which will be released throughout 2023, with the first single “Medusa” already available.https://www.instagram.com/stayuplatebandhttps://twitter.com/stayuplateband

**All shows 21+—valid ID required** Doors: 7:00 PM Show: 7:30 PMThe Bobby LeesIggy Pop, Blondie, Henry Rollins…just a few of the Punk icons who have shown support for Woodstock, NY based band THE BOBBY LEES. Their new album BELLEVUE was released on October 7th 2022 on Ipecac Recordings (The Melvins, Mr. Bungle, Faith No More) and was produced by multi-grammy winning producer and mixer Vance Powell (Jack White, Chris Stapleton, Beyonce). Their last album SKIN SUIT was produced by underground punk-legend Jon Spencer of the Blues Explosion and was released via Alive Naturalsound Records in 2020. Henry Rollins said “The Bobby Lees Skin Suit album is wild and different. I dug it immediately. Dangerous music is good for you”.https://thebobbylees.bandcamp.com/The MembrainsDrawing heavily from garage bands of the 60’s, punk from the heyday of 1970’s CBGB, shaking it up and giving it a modern twist; The Membrains are one of the latest bands making waves in Philadelphias music scene. Their video/single “The Hunt” was released back in September to resounding reviews and has been said to sound “like a Joy Division song dialed into a gnarly guitar pedal or three” and accompanies a video that is “is a gory homage to classic slasher films”, definitely a must watch. Coming at you with their  aggressive yet catchy tunes, a chaotically high energy live show, and more swagger than rock-n-roll’s greats, The Membrains are truly a force to be reckoned with.
