Tragedy: All Metal Tribute to the Bee Gees & Beyond ~ Lili St Queer

*All events are 21+ valid ID required for entry*7 PM Doors8 PM ShowTRAGEDY: AN ALL-METAL TRIBUTE TO THE BEE GEES AND BEYONDBorn out of the impenetrable divide of Disco and Metal, these fearsome brothers fearlessly obliterated the truce line that had been set in the great Disco/Metal Peace accord of 1977 when they seamlessly blended the two genres with their debut album, We Rock Sweet Balls and Can Do No Wrong – a collection of Bee Gees songs redone in a heavy metal treatment reminiscent of Judas Priest, Motley Crue and Guns N Roses. Since then, they have crisscrossed the globe with their spectacular live shows, storming across the USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, France and Switzerland. On subsequent full length albums, Humbled By Our Greatness, Death To False Disco Metal, The Solo Albums, The Joy of Sex, Tragedy Goes to the Movies and #1 Christmas Holiday Party Mix, Tragedy spread their glittered wings to take on non-Bee Gees classics from the disco era, soft rock anthems and party jams. In 2015, Tragedy broke the internet with a viral video featuring their take on You’re the One That I Want from the Grease soundtrack. In 2017, Tragedy’s video for Stayin’ Alive broke the internet once again. In 2019 two albums hit the NACC Heavy Top 30 charts. In 2021, Tragedy signed a worldwide record deal with Napalm Records. The first album with Napalm is Disco Balls to the Wall – release date July 30, 2021. It has hit the top 10 in Hard Rock/Metal charts in Europe and the US. Tragedy takes disco, soft-rock and pop classics, and completely reimagines them as glorious, red-hot heavy metal. Their music is sure to get your head bangin’, your booty shakin’ – and put a smile on your face and your fist in the air.Lili St. QueerLili St. Queer is a DJ, musician, drag queen, and cabaret artist. Mörk Gryning ~ Arsantiqva ~ The Noctambulant

*All events are 21+ valid ID required for entry*7 PM Doors7:30 PM ShowMÖRK GRYNINGMÖRK GRYNING was founded in Stockholm, Sweden in 1993 by Goth Gorgon and Draakh Kimera. The debut album “Tusen År Har Gått” (1995), was recorded at Unisound Studios, produced by Dan Swanö and released by No Fashion. The group returned to action in November 1996, working at Sunlight Studios together with Tomas Skogsberg and DISMEMBER’s Fred Estby to craft the “Return Fire” record. This album would include their interpretation of SLAYER’s “Necrophiliac”. Returning in 2000 along with guitarist Avathar, a scene veteran, the band wrote “Maelstrom Chaos” at the legendary Grieghallen Studios Bergen, Norway. In January of 2004, MÖRK GRYNING cut their rendition of “Neverwhere” for an AT THE GATES tribute album “Slaughterous Souls – A Tribute To At The Gates” released through Drowned Scream Records. Ever since the debut album, “Tusen år har gått…”, MÖRK GRYNING have refused to follow in the footsteps of others and have walked their own paths – something which is made very clear on the 2003 release “Pieces of Primal Expressionism”, an experimental and heavy progressive release recorded at Dug out, produced by Daniel Bergstrand. After a couple of years of touring and festival performances, the band was put on-hold. Returning to the scene again in 2017, the band performed an exclusive live show in Stockholm playing all the songs from the debut album and some other songs from the back catalogue. This ended in releasing the 4-song live record called “Live at Kraken”.ARSANTIQVAArsantiqva is an extreme metal act hailing from Brooklyn, NY. Officially formed in September of 2009 by Diktator (Guitar/Keys), Haeor (Bass/Drums), and Abraxas (Vocals). They are driven by a doctrine of post-apocalyptic dystopian philosophy, the expression of a disintegrated civilization deconstructed to a primitive state of existence.https://arsantiqva.bandcamp.com/THE NOCTAMBULANTThe Noctambulant is a melodic black metal ensemble from Jacksonville, FL. D.R.I. ~ Retox A.D. ~ Honey

D.R.I.  We are a punk/metal crossover band with our roots set in hardcore. Established way back in 1982, we have about 10 CD’s & 2 DVD’s out on various labels and are considered to be one of the forefathers of speed metal and thrash punk music. We started out in Texas and moved to the Bay Area cause we heard the SF area had free food at the soup kitchens (from which the classic tune was written!!!!!)When we started our influences were bands like Black Flag and the Dead Kennedys. In 1982, our first release, which was really a demo, the 22-song 7″ EP, kickstarted our career as a formidable hardcore band. 22 songs in 17 minutes. Blistering fast, with on-the-dime cuts, and vocals to match. Said to contain the first grindcore blast ever recorded (No Sense). This record was later pressed into an LP, and was considered to be our first official release even though it was only 17 minutes. The 22-song debut eventually was combined with our second release, 1984’s Violent Pacification EP, and came out on CD in the mid-eighties, when that technology reached indie labels. In 1985 we started to listen to bands like Metallica & Slayer. Our second full length release Dealing with It, showed a progression to the metal side of the music genre. This album also was said to make an impact, and helped start the crossover movement. “We fused together our influences, and shoved into the DRI mold, Dealing With It is what came out”. DRI went on mixing its own brand of punk metal releasing: Crossover, Four of a Kind, Thrash Zone, Definition, a live album recorded in 1992, before releasing Full Speed Ahead in 1996 ; our last full length release. We have been re-issuing our old catalog with bonus tracks for the new millennium. We also got a bunch of Live DVD’s in the works, starting with the 1984 CBGB’s live DVD that came out in 2005. Summer of 2016 saw the release of the first new material in years. But Wait..THERE’s MORE came out as a 7″/12″ and CD.The band currently consists of original core members and song writing team, Spike Cassidy (guitar) and Kurt Brecht (vocals), along with Gregg Orr (bass) and Rob Rampy (drums). We are that band with the skanker in the circle. You know, the running man. The mosher. We appeared on a Beavis & Butthead episode. We also held the Guinness Book record for fastest band in the world, back in the day. We played with just about every major band you can name, and most festivals in our travels around the world for over three decades. We now have over 120 DRI songs under our belt, and still play about 35 or so when we play live.RETOX A.D.Wisconsin based hardcore punk featuring members Wartorn, Choose Your Poison, Lion Slicer, Alleyway.https://re-toxad.bandcamp.com/album/rabid-dogHONEYhttps://honey-philly.bandcamp.com/

LIMBSLIMBS is a post-hardcore outfit hailing from Tampa Bay, Florida. Originally formed in 2013 under a different moniker, LIMBS released their debut album entitled ‘Dead Ends’ before undergoing a fairly drastic lineup change. After taking eight months for reformation, LIMBS regrouped and released their sophomore release ‘Admission,’ in late 2014, to copious amounts of positive feedback. In 2015, LIMBS toured the DIY circuits relentlessly, and released two independent singles. In March of 2015, LIMBS released the first single entitled ‘Poison,’ again receiving immense positive feedback. Two months later, in May of 2015, LIMBS released their second single of the year entitled ‘Ruin.’ In 2016, LIMBS ventured on a southeastern tour with Saosin and also performed at the South By So What?! Music Festival in Dallas, Texas. The band recorded a 3 song EP entitled ‘SLEEP,’ mixed by Beau Burchell (Saosin) and mastered by Mike Kalajian – released in April of 2017. In 2017, LIMBS joined up with Royal Division Entertainment for management, and soon set out to support Envy on the Coast on select dates in the southeast. Following that, the band trekked across the country supporting Hail The Sun on their nationwide headliner. In September of 2017, LIMBS announced their signing to Equal Vision Records. Their recently released EP, ‘SLEEP,’ has now been re-recorded under the production of Tim McTague (Underoath), remixed by Beau Burchell, and will be re-released by Equal Vision Records featuring new songs not heard on the previous rendition. As the latter half of 2017 approaches a new year, the band has no plans to slow down; a fall tour in support of their re-released EP, and winter recording plans are already set. Tombs ~ Cloak ~ Restless Spirit at Silk City

TOMBSFormed in 2007, Brooklyn-based experimental metal outfit TOMBS blends bleak, post-punk minimalism with the ferocious attack of sludge and traditional black metal. Over the course of the last nine years, TOMBS have established themselves as an act that’s as committed to consistency as it is to growth, developing smoothly (but never predictably) over the course of their career.https://tombscult.bandcamp.com/album/the-shiftCLOAKUnyielding darkness and brutality emerge from the deep south of the United States. Atlanta based quartet CLOAK blend the sounds of black metal and rock n’ roll to create their own unique and menacing sound. While rippers like “On Poisoned Ground” and “Into the Storm” deliver a fury of soulful aggression, songs like “Lifeless Silence” and “The Fire, The Faith, The Void” offer a darker, gothic essence, ultimately displaying CLOAK’s multi-faceted and dynamic musical diversity. So, raise your fists and set fire to the world; this is ‘The Burning Dawn’. CLOAK captures the magic, mystique, and mystery of classic heavy metal with their long-awaited debut ‘To Venomous Depths’. Drawing from metal’s most impactful sub genre’s, the quartet distill their collective influences into an enthralling full-album experience that honors the spirit of the early classics while standing firmly in the now. Captivating tracks like “Beyond the Veil”, “Deep Red”, “Forever Burned” and the title track are riveted with somber harmonies, driving rhythms, and dramatic builds in momentum and suspense. CLOAK’s bold and blackened metal teems with dark energy, and ‘To Venomous Depths’ is a testament to the genre’s primal power and magic.https://cloakatlanta.bandcamp.com/ RESTLESS SPIRIT“A turbo-charged, all-inclusive extrapolation of Sabbathian doom with a vicious character and an absolute monopoly on righteous riffs across all tempos, shapes, and sizes.” Invisible Oranges (USA)https://restlessspirit.bandcamp.com/album/blood-of-the-old-gods

Stinking Lizaveta ~ Microwaves ~ Faking at Kung Fu Necktie

*All events are 21+ valid ID required for entry*7 PM Doors7:30 PM ShowSTINKING LIZAVETAStinking Lizaveta is a power trio from Philadelphia, categorized as “doomjazz.”MICROWAVESOf innumerable bands that traffic in dissonance, the musick of Pittsburgh, PA’s Microwaves’ shears clean and hot as an oxy-lance through the defenses of even the most cynical noise rock aficionado. The trio plies a no-wave/prog-thrash scree that evokes the doings of today’s renegade wetware punks who shove glass-sheathed RFID chips and rare-earth magnets into fresh incisions – dimensions away from the bluesy shot-and-beer heartland rock of their local bar scene. Bursting forth with 2001’s “Professional Systems Overload” EP and the following year’s “System 2” (both featuring original bassist/vocalist Steve Moore, now of ZOMBI) John Roman (drums, formerly of the 1985, and current member of Night Vapor and Brown Angel) and David Kuzy (guitar, vocals) cycled through bass players for several years (including a stint as a synth/sampler-augmented duo) before joining with Johnny Arlett for their longest-running lineup to date. Over the years, Microwaves continued to pick up the loose ends left by Voivod, MX-80, Snakefinger, and some of their own Pittsburgh-area “math-rock” contemporaries, twisting them into a Gordian knot that at once rages and confounds. Their latest album, “Via Weightlessness,” tones down their previous effects-heavy approach, charging lean and unabated toward their dystopian vision. Kuzy’s guitar chimes through the mix with spindly atonal runs more akin to data streams spat from an outdated mainframe, alternately careening into chugging, crossover-thrash riffs. The Roman/Arlett rhythm section is much more than the sum of its parts: Beefheartian clamor served up with cyborg precision underpins overdriven bass, rumbling forth frenziedly as a DMT-dosed rhino. Kuzy, the paranoid town crier, and Arlett, the unhinged shrieker, deliver a twin-vocal assault covering most topics previously found in your local video rental shop’s cult/sci-fi section. FAKINGFAKING is a noise rock trio from Philadelphia that blends angular aggression, brooding filth, and mathy weirdness. Giant pounding drums, biting bass synth, and harsh guitar riffs that bleed into reverb drenched seasick leads create the odd-time foundation while vocals scream and holler about shitty people doing shitty things.
