Doors: 7:00 PM Show: 7:30 PMChasing StraightsChasing Straights is a 4-piece rock band based out of the Philadelphia area. Sam Capolongo (lead vocals/guitar) founded the band in 2020, releasing the first EP, “Hardly off the Ground” a year later. In 2021, current members Sean Gallagher (guitar) and Nate Gittelman (drums) joined, creating a more diverse sound for their latest project, “On to the Next One.” Immediately following its release, Brad Herring (bass) began performing with the band, adding more stage presence to their high energy live performances. With their late 90’s post-grunge arrangements built around Capolongo’s heartfelt lyrics and folk-pop inspired melodies, Chasing Straights showcases a unique sound capable of hooking fans of a wide variety of genres. The band plans to release their next single “Something Extraordinary” in February 2024.https://www.chasingstraights.com/Cat in the WallFloracene

Inspired by classic horror stories and blasphemous tales, the quartet showcases a twin vocal attack of crossripping melodies, overdriven bass and infernal blast beats that drive listeners into a heavy metal whiplash. After unleashing their debut self-titled EP in October of 2021 and dropping a split with Black Knife in April 2022, they have released a new E.P entitled “Beasts of the Night” in April this year, which has been repressed as part of the split “Faster Than the Devil 2” by Wiseblood Records.https://bastardcross.bandcamp.com/

The Young Fresh Fellows ~ The Bret Tobias Set

AGE RESTRICTION: Only Ages 21+ can purchase tickets for this show. NO REFUNDS/EXCHANGES for anyone underage who purchases or attempts to use these tickets. Doors: 7:00 PM Show: 7:30 PMThe Young Fresh FellowsThose aging but agile Young Fresh Fellows are set to celebrate the anniversary of their out-of-time and timeless album, The Fabulous Sounds Of The Pacific Northwest. Released by Seattle’s PopLlama Products in April 1984, it turned into a snowball on a roller coaster — or something. Refusing to call playing music a career, the combo endures, at least in its own mind. Says chief songwriter Scott McCaughey: “We never broke up and we probably never will.”The Bret Tobias SetBret’s a Replacements-addled gen-x romantic still humming from the big bang of discovering MTV’s 120 Minutes in its prime (i.e. before Nirvana ruined everything). Imagine being 14 years old in Reagan’s America and hearing Sonic Youth’s “Expressway to yr Skull,” or Flesh For Lulu’s “Postcards from Paradise,” or the The Mighty Lemon Drops’ “Inside Out,” or The Wishniaks’ “Day to End All Days” or The House of Love’s “I Don’t Know Why I Love You,” or Scruffy The Cat’s “Mybabyshesalright” for the first time. Kaboom. Bret’s been striving to distill that spirit for longer than he cares to admit, initially via the punk trio Möped, and after via the wish-we-didn’t-have-to-refer-to-this-as-power-pop combo The Bigger Lovers. To be clear, this is no cheeky retro project: dude has fully digested his influences and is writing songs for the ages. Sure, a touch of folky maturity has crept in–I’m reminded of Nick Lowe who once wondered, “what do you do when you’re 30 and you’re still called Rat Scabies?”–but he ain’t boring. The Pleaser Vol. 1 EP was released in late 2023 to the acclaim of about 20 diehard Bigger Lovers fans (bless them). Pleaser Vol. 2 is due in 2024. The Set is comprised of Tracy Stanton, Jeff Tanner, Mike Kennedy and Krista Umile.

Day Job ~ Wipes ~ King Slender ~ The Scoleri Brothers

AGE RESTRICTION: Only Ages 21+ can purchase tickets for this show. NO REFUNDS/EXCHANGES for anyone underage who purchases or attempts to use these tickets. Doors: 7:00 PM Show: 7:30 PMDay JobDAY JOB is a fairly new band from Birmingham, AL comprised of two individuals who have been playing with one another in a variety of other bands around the area over a long period of time and a recent transplant with a resume of their own. Day Job started with Brenton and Kevin wanting to work on something more aggressive than their two other active bands, Null and Bulging. After jamming with several different drummers, they watched scene newcomer Jake pummel through a live set and found their fit, ultimately landing on what is now Day Job. After spending about 6 months writing and playing their initial shows, the trio recorded a debut EP with Shibby Poole (Thirdface, Yautja) in early 2022. Hex Records took quick notice of the group and a deal for a full length was quickly struck up. As an introduction of sorts, the band recorded a few more tracks which were released through Hex as a limited split tape release with Wipes, also on the Hex label. Day Job then began the writing process for their debut full length, “The Auger”, in February 2023. The whole procedure of writing and recording took just 6 months and in that time the band played live only once so that they could pour everything into writing new material.www.dayjobnoise.bandcamp.comWipesWipes is a band from the Allentown/Bethlehem, PA area that remains quite familiar.  That might be because the band started as almost an off-shoot from Tile, who had been blasting eardrums for well over 10 years.  When Tile’s guitarist began taking on more adult responsibilities and had less time to devote to the band remaining members Ray Gurz (bass, vocals) and Michael Dumoff (drums) began looking for another guitarist to fill out the band. Soon Wipes was born and began writing music at a furious pace. The band demo’ed a few songs, putting up one on their bandcamp page just to give people an idea of what was going on.  Not long after the band did a very limited lathe cut 7” on Limited Appeal Records with two more tracks showcasing what they were up to.King SlenderImagine if Drive Like Jehu tried to make a Portraits of Past worship record. Vicious, yet straight ahead. Three vocalists and a two guitar onslaught with riffs that realize the urgency and depth of what makes emotional hardcore such a vital genre of music.https://www.instagram.com/kingslenderpa/The Scoleri BrothersDespite the cliche of naming their band after characters from an overwhelmingly popular movie that everybody grew up with, The Scoleri Brothers are anything but, mixing many diverse styles of “extreme” music like grind, thrash, hip hop, sludge, power violence and hardcore punk. They’ve been told they sound like Biohazard, a more complicated Minor Threat, early Botch, and mid 90s Jade Tree Records. They’re confused but they’re cool with it.Thescoleribrothers.bandcamp.com

Doors: 7:00 PM Show: 8:00 PMOsi and the JupiterHailing from the shadowy forests of Ohio, amongst the echoes of old songs dwell the haunting hymns of Osi and the Jupiter. Sean Kratz offers his multi-instrumental talent in honor of pagan traditions and in worshipful tribute to the peaceful finality of death. From its birth in 2015, the focus of the project has been on the spiritual connection between nature and the will of the old Gods—channeled through various representations of life, death, and rebirth. This connection speaks through these musical creations, resonating as wordless tributes to these nebulous yet fundamental concepts.https://osifolk.bandcamp.com/album/songs-from-the-gravehttps://www.youtube.com/c/OsiandtheJupiterhttps://www.instagram.com/osiandthejupiter/?hl=enAxiomahttps://axioma.bandcamp.com/https://www.instagram.com/axiomasound/Avowalhttps://avowalband.bandcamp.com/album/the-tower-ephttps://www.instagram.com/avowalbandQuiet ManSludge. Sham 69 ~ No Consent ~ The Tone Bandits

AGE RESTRICTION: Only Ages 21+ can purchase tickets for this show. NO REFUNDS/EXCHANGES for anyone underage who purchases or attempts to use these tickets. Doors: 7:00 PM Show: 7:30 PMSham 69Sham 69 was formed in 1975 with the members Jimmy Pursey, Neil Harris, Albie Slider, Billy Bostik and Johnny Goodfornothing. The band played at many of the famous punk hotspots during this time, performing fan favourites such as ‘Borstal Breakout’ and ‘Hey Little Rich Boy’.  By late 1977 the band line-up was changed on advice of the management. Guitarists Goodfornothing and Harris were replaced by Dave Parsons, and Mark Cain replaced Bostik on drums. Slider stayed on to record the first single, ‘I Don’t Wanna’ – produced by John Cale of The Velvet Underground; the success of this single on the independent charts saw Sham 69 signed to Polydor Records. Bassist Slider was replaced a few months later with Dave Tregunna. This line-up stayed stable until 1980 when Cain left and was replaced by Ricky Goldstein.  Thanks to the popularity of punk rock in the UK at the time, Sham 69 scored a string of five consecutive top 20 singles with ‘Angels With Dirty Faces’, ‘If The Kids Are United’, ‘Hurry Up Harry’, ‘Questions And Answers’ and ‘Hersham Boys’, some of which were performed on Top of the Pops. The band’s first three albums, ‘Tell Us The Truth’, ‘That’s Life’ and ‘The Adventures Of The Hersham Boys’ charted at numbers 25, 27 and 8 respectively.  However, like the times, punk began to lose its bite and many bands either broke up or started making new wave music. Sham 69’s gigs were often plagued by violence and this played a major part in the band’s demise in 1980, just after the release of its fourth album, ‘The Game’. Many fans saw this as a sell-out as the band tried to evolve into a new style of its own, heavily influenced by classic British rock bands. Pursey went off to pursue various projects including a solo career, whilst Tregunna and Parsons formed The Wanderers with the late Stiv Bators of The Dead Boys. Later, Tregunna and Bators would form Lords Of The New Church with Nick Turner of The Barracudas and Brian James of The Damned. No Consenthttps://noconsentband.bandcamp.com/The Tone BanditsHailing from the streets of Philadelphia and fueled by a high-octane mix of straight ahead rock’n’roll and punk, the Tone Bandits classic twin guitar attack is dished out with pure hotrod energy.  Featuring veterans of the Philly, New York and San Francisco rock scenes, The Tone Bandits have created a blistering sonic juggernaut!https://thetonebandits.bandcamp.com/album/the-darkness-ep
