Velvet Rouge has also had the opportunity to perform on WXPN for National Public Radio Day 2022, as seen in NPR Music. In 2022, Gina Zo was inducted into the Recording Academy Philadelphia Chapter and has set out on a journey to put her mark on rock n roll. They have begun touring in NYC, Toronto, the West Coast, and everywhere in between.DESOTO JONESRock & Roll is still very much alive. You can feel it in the raw energy of Desoto Jones, a band which blends contemporary sound with the roots of American Rock. The ragged intensity of Desoto Jones is reminiscent of the early days of grunge and alternative, but is also pleasantly sophisticated; the band skillfully fuses ear-grabbing melodies with soulful, introspective lyrics. Their music is an inquest of candid expression, but the band doesn’t try to wax philosophic; the lyrics grow from real, relatable experiences. Their music invokes a sense of nostalgia for the past, travelling deep to touch the most basic human emotions.THE FOREST VIEW MOVEMENTHailing from the beautiful, cascading landscapes of southern New Jersey, The Forest View Movement is a six-piece band that embodies a mix of indie rock, jam, soul, alternative, folk, singer-songwriter, and anything else in the world you can think of. We hope to see you dancing at our next show!
Easy Honey ~ Walter Etc.

AGE RESTRICTION: Only Ages 21+ can purchase tickets for this show. NO REFUNDS/EXCHANGES for anyone underage who purchases or attempts to use these tickets. Doors: 6:30 PM Show: 7:00 PMEasy HoneyEasy Honey was born out of the small – town innocent college days: the days of walking home under the starry night, and springing under the watchful eye of sunny graveyards, Dairy Queens, and neo – gothic cathedrals. Easy Hone y’s witty melodies dotted with catchy hooks serve as anthems of nostalgia for their indie rock audience of daydreamers and nightseekers. Drawing inspiration from the originality and attitude of The Kinks, The Replacements, and Radiohead, the band’s raucous yet sentimental live show exemplifies the realness that people crave in a post covid/internet driven world. The band’s latest singles, Orbiter and Tributary , landed itself on numerous popular playlists, including Spotify’s “Undercurrents,” and “Grade A ”, and precedes more releases from the band under the direction of producer Wolfgang Zimmerman (Band of Horses, Susto). Co – frontmen Darby McGlone (vocals, guitar) and Selby Austin (vocals, guitar) share writing and singing duties, while Charlie Holt (drums , vocals) and Webster Austin (bass, vocals) provide a rhythm section which complements the personified, interwoven electric guitars. When not touring, the band lives in Charleston, SC, leading the way in the rapidly growing music scene… and surfing Folly B each when home.Walter Etc.Walter Etc. is the brainchild of Dustin Cole Hayes, who has been creating music (originally as Walter Mitty and His Makeshift Orchestra ), writing, videos, and art for over a decade. Based in Ventura, CA he co – runs the label and art collective Making New Enemies with Milk Flud , and has worked alongside Jeff Rosenstock and Ian Farmer ( Slaughter Beach, Dog / Modern Baseball ) in the studio. W alter’s newest album “There There” (self – released via Making New Enemies, May 2021) showcases the band’s return to a home – recorded and self – produced approach. With a revolving door of band members and a foray into different genres, it is Hayes’s gift for l yricism and DIY ethos that holds all of his projects together in one cohesive canon.Bandcamp | Instagram | Spotify
Teenage Bottlerocket ~ Tightwire ~ Crossed Keys (Cambridge Hall)

AGE RESTRICTION: All Ages Doors: 7:00 PM Show: 7:30 PMTeenage BottlerocketThey’ve toured the world countless times. They kept the leather jacket – and – Converse look alive through an increasingly neon landscape. They’ve written songs about KISS, Top Gun and Minecraft. Hell, they’ve even been on CNN a few times! Please welcome back to the spotlight Wyoming’s own Teenage Bottlerocket, whose ninth album, the 12 – track Sick Sesh! — traffic – cone – orange cover art and all — will be released 08/27/2021 on Fat Wreck Chords. “This record is 12 songs because 14 was too long,” cracks vocalist/g uitarist Ray Carlisle. “We wanna keep the energy up.” Recorded in November 2020 at the Blasting Room (the band’s eighth straight full – length with producer Andrew Berlin), Sick Sesh! is a little bit rougher around the edges than the last few TBR albums, fr om the haunting “Statistic” to the panic – inducing “Strung Out On Stress” to the buzzsaw lead of “Semi Truck.” According to Carlisle, that was on purpose. “We spent a lot of time on guitar tones this time around — that was important for us,” he says. ““We made sure to bring the noisy, loud, irritate your fuckin’ mom guitar back. There’s a ton of intentional guitar noise and feedback. We dug up the amps we used for Freak Out! and They Came From The Shadows . This is punk rock, after all. Stay Rad! Is a great record, but it’s very radio friendly. I wanted to do the opposite of that: Let’s get fuckin’ noisy.” While the bulk of Sick Sesh! was written in January 2020 (with “Statistic” actually co – written between Carlisle and his son Milo), the COVID pandemic allow ed for the band to take a little extra time for fine tuning, and the resulting tracks are some of the most stylistically diverse on the record. First up, there’s the Templeman – penned “Strung Out On Stress,” the fastest, angriest track on Sick Sesh! , all ab out losing your mind during the pandemic. On the flipside, there’s the mid – tempo, melodic track “The Squirrel,” written by bassist Miguel Chen and sung by Templeman, that’s literally about a cute little rodent. https://teenagebottlerocket.bandcamp.com/album/so-dumb-so-stokedTightwirehttps://tightwirempls.bandcamp.com/album/head-full-of-snakesCrossed KeysChances are, if you’ve been paying attention to the Philadelphia underground music scene in the past two decades, you’ve seen one or two members of Crossed Keys before, although it’s very likely that you’ve seen them all. The members of Crossed Keys have a long history of playing in hardcore and punk bands from the area including Kid Dynamite, Ink & Dagger, Step Ahead, Kill The Man Who Questions, Zolof the Rock and Roll Destroyer, Halo of Snakes, and The Curse. Crossed Keys draw from an eclectic palette of influences to create a unique twist on a sound that has been cultured in years of basement shows and record shops. Crossed Keys has gotten a lot older, a little wiser, and lost varying amounts of hair, but still makes music perfect for sweaty singalongs and all around good time.Crossedkeys.Bandcamp.com

**MOVED TO FIRST UNITARIAN CHURCH** The Crane Wives ~ Anna Moss

AGE RESTRICTION: All Ages Doors: 7:00 PM Show: 8:00 PMThe Crane WivesBorn of the 2010’s folk boom and now comfortably stationed in their rock and roll era, The Crane Wives epitomize the evolving sound of the indie genre. Having performed hundreds of shows on stages across the country, they gravitate toward high – energy melod ies, featuring the kinetic percussion of Dan Rickabus, the silky, driving bass lines of Ben Zito and playful guitar leads from front women Emilee Petersmark and Kate Pillsbury. Counterbalancing their lively stage presence, their lyrics extol the shadow sid e of the human condition, delving into mythology and themes of darkness and inner conflict. The band softens the blows of their emotional candor with soulful three – part vocal harmonies, like a 21st century Cerberus, the hound of Hades reimagined as an emot ional support animal. To date, they have released five full length albums, including their 2020 live album, “Here I Am”.Anna MossAnna Moss has a voice that will stop you dead in your tracks. She commands attention and takes audiences on a spiritual journey when she sings. Moss’s vocal quality is so unique and deeply healing that crowds often beg for down tempo and Acapella songs. It is in these moments that you can fully absorb the smokey, gritty and dynamic nature of her singing. Growing up in Berryville Arkansas, (a town whose main industry is chicken farming) Anna flew the coop and made her career playing music in the US, Canada, Europe, Central and South America. She has made waves in the folk and festival scenes of North America as a front woman for the band Handmade Moments. After seeing most of the Western World she decided New Orleans would be her home. Moving to the New Orleans has influenced Anna’s arrangements and style. She began writing her debut album in a dark depression during 2020. All shows we cancelled and live musicians were practically erased from the economy. It was in these bleak times that Anna wrote profusely and honed in her bedroom pop style. She searched for months to find a band in New Orleans to fill out her sound. Eventually she found what she was looking for. Fernando Lima, a local percussionist and drummer originally from Sao Paulo, Brazil and Olivya Lee, a flautist and vocalist originally from Uruguay joined Anna to create the Nightshades.https://www.annamossmusic.com/
Joe Vann ~ Bloomsday

AGE RESTRICTION: Only Ages 21+ can purchase tickets for this show. NO REFUNDS/EXCHANGES for anyone underage who purchases or attempts to use these tickets. Doors: 7:00PM Show: 7:30PMJOE VANNVann grew up listening first to country stalwarts like Dolly Parton, Hank Williams, and Jim Croce. The down-trodden anti-heroes littered throughout their catalogues were natural thematic fits for Vann’s settings. “I grew up in a trailer with no electricity, no heat or air conditioning, just a generator for weekends if we wanted to put a VHS in,” he says. “My parents didn’t choose to have that kind of life, it’s not like they were really into nature or something. We just didn’t have money.” To pass the time, Vann would read, swim in creeks, and eventually scored a drum kit. Later, he turned to 2000s indie titans like Feist and Sufjan Stevens. – Luke Ottenhofhttps://linktr.ee/joevannBLOOMSDAYBloomsday is the Brooklyn based project of songwriter Iris James Garrison with long-time collaborator and guitarist Alex Harwood. The band self-produced and released their debut LP Place To Land, on Bayonet Records in 2022. Place to Land, which has folk and shoegaze influences, lyrically follows Garrison’s experience of isolation while confronting their inner ghosts. Garrison carves out a liminal space for inner dialogue in order to heal; they allow forgiveness and release throughout the album. The dialogue between the guitars and vocals is intended to convey this internal conversation. Other Bloomsday releases include their single “Jersey Soccer” for Hardly Art’s Anniversary Series, and an alternative version of “Phase” released this year on Bayonet Records.

Fullscreen ~ O. Wake ~ Redbud ~ Powerhouse of the Cell

AGE RESTRICTION: Only Ages 21+ can purchase tickets for this show. NO REFUNDS/EXCHANGES for anyone underage who purchases or attempts to use these tickets. Doors: 7:00 PM Show: 7:30 PM Fullscreen When in a spiral, directionlessness prevails. Circling stuck patterns. Gravity settling in with the weight of confusion. Tumbling out of the tumult can either bring harmony or headache. Philly-via-Richmond psych-rock trio Fullscreen emerges from the center of this chaos with Labyrinthitis, their debut full-length following a trail of singles and the whirlwind start to the decade. The group, faced with personal and creative shifts, entered a labyrinth of their own, built in RVA and Philly and mastered by Scoops Dardaris (Another Michael, Prince Daddy & the Hyena). Reorganization led to re-assessing Fullscreen in widescreen—deepening their dream-pop sets with backing tracks and sampling, invigorating their songwriting with a visceral sense of focus and scope. Born out of a battle with the eponymous inner ear infection, Labyrinthitis chronicles a years-long quest to regain one’s balance. This serves as the narrative throughline, but the mission statement of the musical tension as well: a delicate push-pull between psychedelia’s outer limits and the constructiveness of grounded maturity and vulnerability. Fullscreen, on this recording and elsewhere, is Harper McGrath (he/him), Eric Schueler (he/they), Jon Furson (he/him) and Kirby Vitek (he/him). O. Wake Brooklyn mainstay O. Wake is masterminded by visual artist and illustrative musician Ofer Shouval. Shouval’s probing songwriting combines elements of art pop and indie rock to explore the anxieties and absurdities of today’s world through witty vignettes and sweeping soundscapes. With intimacy wrought from vulnerability and a uniquely bashful confidence, O. Wake’s emerging sounds inspire play and movement while evoking a rainbow of feelings. Redbud Redbud is a band planting itself in the heart of the Austin music fan with whimsical, psychedelic tones and meditative, soul-exposing lyrics. They’ve recently supported international touring acts such as The Front Bottoms, Giant Rooks, Magic City Hippies, A Giant Dog, The Duncan Fellows. With a sound described by Austin’s favorite radio station KUTX as “a masterpiece of unearthly arrangements, airtight structures, and a caliber of songwriting we rarely hear from relative newcomers”, you are sure to be swept up in the tide of their innovative essence. Powerhouse of the Cell Powerhouse of the Cell began as a marketing experiment conducted by Keywrb Lab Group for the Monsanto Company in the early 1990s. The goal was to create the illusion of a grassroots environmental movement through false flag TV and radio hijackings with music and visual art. The actions of this group would then be demonized by the general public through opposing media campaigns. Musically, the creators at Keywrb Lab Group took influence from Darkwave, Post-Punk, and Pop music from the 1980s. Lyrically Powerhouse of the Cell would contain themes of environmental destruction, modern day political and social anxieties, science fiction, and underlying feelings of hope. Visually the project would rely heavily on video synthesis as well as pieces of found footage. While this project was ultimately defunded sometime in the early 2000s, there has recently been some documentation of the experiment resurfacing. Performances have been linked to former subjects of the experiment known as 2514 (vocals, guitar, synthesizer), 23519 (vocals, guitar, drum machine, synthesizer), and 1815141425 (vocals, bass, synthesizer).
