This eclectic group of musicians teeter on the boundary of what many in the Philadelphia area describe as technical metal, but without the need for a scientific calculator. Their music consists of an all-embracing range of metal, from a variety of influences to create a very dynamic and progressive sound. Dark Waters End has a sound that can range from beautifully-haunting to terrifying in a matter of minutes. Influences from bands such as Converge, The Dillinger Escape Plan, and The Faceless inspire the band to approach metal from all angles and can be aggressive, peaceful, and brutal all within a single song. Additionally, influences from bands such as The Contortionist and Between the Buried and Me have paved the way for the band to incorporate atypical melodies and provide a robust blend of progressive metal.

We thrive off the myths of malefic witches, lustful gods, and unholy ghosts bound to the Swamp — slithering with its snakes. We worship this home and grave to human and beast alike. Our acoustic style mirrors the fables passed down – tongue to tongue and ear to ear — becoming more twisted and ruinous with every passing listen, with every gulp of whiskey around the fire. Kimber Dulin (vocalist + lyricist), Chris Tremoglie (guitarist + pianist), Andriana Markano (violin), Zach Rinck (bassist), and Kat Wilson (Drums). https://49burningcondors.com/ Goth Goth Born out of an ocean of darkness and glow sticks, Goth Goth took root in Philadelphia. Combining influences of The Cure, Bauhaus, The Clash, Television, & Blondie, a beautiful mix of catchy post-punk is born. Chime-y guitar, pumping bass, grooving drums behind the crooning looming stage presence of their frontal figure, the band has become known for electric live performances. Produced by Bare Bodkin, the band brought foreword single Pumpkin, followed by the bands first EP Inscrutable? In 2022. 2023 is brimming with new music, with the next single announced for a June release. https://open.spotify.com/artist/0QAuc6s6YnuhLRqc64onzr

Population II ~ The Black Coast ~ The Azures
**All shows 21+—valid ID required** Doors: 6:30 PM Show: 7:00 PMPOPULATION IIPopulation II is a band dedicated to its disengagement, constantly working on refining their imposing, yet unpretentious sound. Masters at both improvised madness and sophisticated composition, Population II delivers a heavy psychedelic rock infused with feverish funk rhythms, a touch of jazz philosophy, an energy reminiscent of punk’s early days, and a love of minor scales that harkens back to the roots of heavy metal. The band’s uniqueness is reinforced by Pierre-Luc’s one of a kind voice and his introspective, nostalgic and offbeat lyrics. Their sources of inspiration are diverse and not limited to music: the Detroit garage rock and psychedelic funk scenes of the late 60s, the Canterbury scene of the same period, the German experimental rock of the 70s and Miles Davis’ eclectic era collide, bound together by the swampy decor of Pointe-Calumet, and the deep friendship and undeniable chemistry of the three musicians. The roots of Population II go back a long way, and are inextricably linked to the members’ teenage memories. After years of jamming to the point of developing a sense of telepathy, the trio began recording a handful of releases that soon caught the attention of John Dwyer, leader of the American band Osees, and the man behind the independent label Castle Face Records. Thus was born À la ô Terre, their first label-released album, which came out in 2020. The band spent the next two years playing shows in Canada and the United States, notably performing at SXSW (Austin, Texas) and Pop Montreal, as well as in New York City, Toronto and Quebec City. The Black Coast https://open.spotify.com/artist/2VVCQowNOiA4iuJPL2AkQv?si=Ej57nTioTm6Mk29Qq65oPAThe Black Coast is a Philadelphia based band combining rock and dirty blues to form a heavy guitar and vocally driven garage rock sound.
