Doors: 5:00 PM Show: 6:00 PMTEDDY BEAR ORCHESTRAhiiiiiii! hiiiiiiii! hiiiiiiiiiiiiii!!!!! hi everybody!!!! do you like bears? i hope so cuz we are bears! our owners threw us away, that made us sooo sad. :(
so us bears got together and started a beary excellent band. we had a hard time trying to learn how to play our instruments until we met our new orchestra leader.his name is Herr Konductor. he is kinda mean to us too sometimes :(
but we’re working on making him nice with bear hugs and love and beootiful music but it’s beary difficult cuz he’s not nice and maybe the meanest conductor ever? Well anyways, now we tour around and play shows! do you want to come and see us? well we’re touring starting sept 28 2023 all over the usa so here’s your chance!!! you’ll find all the tour dates and social media and pictures at teddybearorchestra.com ok? ok we’ve played with Parquet Courts and just played at John Waters’ Mosswood meltdown in Oakland with Bratmobile and Le Tigre and gravy train….wowww it was so cool and Mr Waters introduced us omggggg. we also were in Shannon Shaws video for Freddie’s and teddies and we were the teddies!!!! it was super awesome! you should come to see us! we can all sing and dance together. that would be awesome awesome awesome ok i gotta go drink some milk now! come and see us and bring your teddy bear to the show plzzz!!!! ok? ok byeeeee! byeeeeee!!!! byyyyyeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! love butterscotchThe 1910 Chainsaw CompanyWith your eyes closed, 1910 Chainsaw Company could fool you into believing you’ve been transported to another time. If you’ve ever had a dream where there is a tidal wave coming for you, and you woke just in the nick of time with a sense of relief, then you are aware of the sounds of Chainsaw’s sweet little melodies. If you’ve ever had the thought to paint everything in your bedroom all one color – I mean everything – then you can imagine a red radiator suddenly making sense with a red teddy bear; and if you can imagine this, then you can imagine how it would make sense to want to hear another of front man Rob Perry’s songs, even though he’s just finished playing one. A love for the vintage style psychedelic pop music inspires a lightness like hydrogen; dissipating from something you know to something you can’t get a grip on. Some people regret not having documented more moments in their lives with pictures or diaries. Well, when you put on a Chainsaw record, or see them play live, all of that regret goes away for just that short amount of time. As the Bible says, “Blessed is the Fruit of thy Loom”, and those words are meant to praise that second pair of undies you keep handy to put on after creaming your first pair at the sounds and sights of 1910 Chainsaw Company. https://the1910chainsawcompany.bandcamp.com/https://www.instagram.com/the1910chainsawcompany/https://www.facebook.com/1910chainsawcompany/

Combining infectious vocals, groovy bass lines and bari sax, they have crafted a unique sound that is both familiar and fresh.

Stoop Kids’ latest release, “If it Ain’t You” with Idin Cain marks the second of a string of singles set to be released over the course of the year culminating in their fifth full-length album.InstagramFever DollsFever Dolls is the shape-shifting, label-defying project of producer-songwriter Evan Allis. Founded in 2018 with singer Renn Mulloy, Fever Dolls was born out of a desire to forego the self-seriousness of indie rock in favor of big hooks, clever lyrics, and broad musical range. Reflecting the highs and lows of modern life, Fever Dolls’s sound draws on everything from country folk to heavy metal to present a catalog of material as diverse and varied as its audience. 2020’s The Phantasm at Lake Wallenpaupack EP, produced by Paul Kolderie (Hole, Radiohead), showcased Fever Dolls’ hit-making sensibilities while continuing to push listeners’ expectations of what a single musical act could be, with Vox’s Emily Van Der Werf remarking “Fever Dolls (and songwriter Evan Allis) seem to borrow from an entirely new set of artistic influences on each and every track, while still sounding like themselves.”www.feverdolls.comThe Last Generation on FilmThe Last Generation On Film is a Modern Rock Outfit from Philadelphia. Their music draws from a variety of influences including electro-pop, funk, chillwave and dance music with an Alternative Rock core and their sound has been compared to A Flock Of Seagulls, Duran Duran, and Glass Animals.  Formed in 2014 by Jeff Familetti (vocals, keys, guitar) and Ryan Bayler (keys, guitar) as a synth pop duo, the band recently went through some dramatic changes with the addition of two new members, Joe Tockett (Drums) and Cameron Kynett (Bass).  As a result, the group’s sound has blossomed, a shift that has garnered local attention and resulted in a feature as one of WXPN’s Local Picks, as well as a prime spot on the lineup for 2nd Street Festival.   The group is currently in the process of recording their third EP, “Repercussions.”  Their first two EPs, “Repetitions”  and “Reflections,” were recorded at Headroom Studios by Mark Watter and are currently available for streaming online.https://thelastgenerationonfilm.bandcamp.com/track/one-less-voice-single

Camping In Alaska ~ Michael Cera Palin ~ Riley!

AGE RESTRICTION: Only Ages 21+ can purchase tickets for this show. NO REFUNDS/EXCHANGES for anyone underage who purchases or attempts to use these tickets. Doors: 7:00 PM Show: 8:00 PM  Camping in AlaskaCamping in Alaska is a post-emo band based in Huntsville, AL. Austin Davis and Jacob Stewart started writing music together at age 15, drawing from influences of childhood-favorite bands such as Jawbreaker, Modest Mouse, and Knapsack. They started their careers in Austin’s mom’s garage and soon began playing DIY shows all around North Alabama with the addition of Ben Cape and Jacob Hill. Their breakout album about being in high school and hanging out in parking lots, Please Be Nice, was recorded in 2013 and quickly took underground internet forums by storm after the popular YouTube channel jommeez uploaded the album with their most popular song, “c u in da ballpit,” holding 1.9 M views to date. After Ben left the band, Eli Long was added to the lineup for the recording of BATHE in 2014. The album was picked up by Broken World Media and released on cassette in 2015. The band took a hiatus for a couple of years after recording Welcome Home Son in 2016, a darker, more serious album about addiction and loss. With the addition of Dani Fandre, the band made a strong comeback in 2022, releasing an EP of acoustic demos recorded through 2017 and 2018 called Lost and Found and selling out both of their come-back shows. The anticipated next release, Eggbeater Jesus, draws influence from Jawbox and The Weakerthans and grapples with more mature subject matter pertaining to addiction, homelessness and finding a way out. The full length has been a long time coming; the well received, cathartic single “Icarus” was recorded and released on a compilation CD in 2019.https://campinginalaska.bandcamp.com/music Michael Cera Palin Atlanta-based emo/indie punk. Mondo Generator ~ Shaper ~ Rilva

AGE RESTRICTION: Only Ages 21+ can purchase tickets for this show. NO REFUNDS/EXCHANGES for anyone underage who purchases or attempts to use these tickets. Doors: 7:00 PM Show: 8:00 PMMONDO GENERATORMondo Generator was formed in 1997 by Queens of the Stone Age bassist/singer Nick Oliveri. Initially intended as a solo/side project, the classic “Cocaine Rodeo” album was recorded that same year, but shelved until the Southern Lord label released it and its unique brand of criminal insanity to widespread acclaim and horror in the summer of 2000. The follow-up, “A Drug Problem That Never Existed,” was released jointly in the Summer of 2003 by Ipecac/Rekords Rekords to further critical acclaim. A worldwide tour followed that was chronicled on video for the DVD release “Use Once and Destroy Me”.   In 2004, Mondo Generator recorded and released “III The EP.” Oliveri began a solo acoustic career shortly after, which would see two full releases, “Demolition Day”, and 2010’s “Death Acoustic.”  To date, Mondo Generator has released six full lengths, two EPs and various singles. The most recent critically acclaimed full length, “Fuck It”, was released February 2020 by Heavy Psych Sounds records and features guest appearances from members of other Oliveri-related projects such as The Dwarves, Moistboyz and Svetlanas.   The Mondo Generator live show is a three-piece powerhouse of Nick Oliveri on bass and vocals, Mike Pygmie on guitar and Mike Amster on drums. The crushing lineup frequently tours the world whipping audiences into a desert-core induced frenzy of rock n’ roll mayhem.   “Punk hasn’t felt this dangerous in a long time and Mondo Generator aren’t even strictly a punk band, at least not in the traditional term. But that’s why we love them. Mondo can be anything it damn well pleases and whatever they choose to do, they’ll probably do it better than most.” – originalrock.netSHAPERRILVAMore loud, heavy, noisy punk from members of Wälly & Count vön Count.https://www.facebook.com/THERILVAig: @_rilvahttps://rilva.bandcamp.com/

Film School ~ Laveda

AGE RESTRICTION: Only Ages 21+ can purchase tickets for this show. NO REFUNDS/EXCHANGES for anyone underage who purchases or attempts to use these tickets. Doors: 7:00 PM Show: 7:30 PMFilm Schoolhttps://filmschoolmusic.bandcamp.com/album/we-werent-here-2LavedaFounded by duo Ali Genevich (vocals/guitar) and Jake Brooks (vocals/guitar/synths), Laveda released their polished debut album ‘What Happens After’ in 2020. Drawing a post-apocalyptic landscape through layers of colorful sound and ethereal melodies, the band fused polished pop clarity with ‘90s guitar sounds reminiscent of groups like The Sundays or My Bloody Valentine. Dubbed as “a young band with a fully realized voice and perspective” by NYC’s Look At My Records!, the album saw Laveda attract praise across the US and beyond.  Brooks and Genevich spent most of the summer and fall of 2021 in Los Angeles working again with producer Dylan Herman (Beck, Pynkie) on their second full-length LP. Tapping into all the angst and anxiety that accompanies coming-of-age during bleak and uncertain times, ‘A Place You Grew Up In’ acts like a time-capsule of its inception period, exploring a range of themes from the loss of innocence to the struggles of coming to grips with reality. Balancing tender songs edged with slacker-rock guitars and spiralling otherworldly synths, the album sees Laveda spreading their wings with creations that nod to the lyrical intimacy of contemporaries such as Soccer Mommy or Big Thief, with the expansive sonics of classics acts like Slowdive to The Cranberries.  From the record, Laveda have released singles including the sun-drenched “Surprise”, the antsy and ethereal “F***”, the shimmering “Clean”, and latest single “Troy Creeps”; earning support from Brooklyn Vegan, Under The Radar, The Independent, The Revue, The Rodeo Mag, and many more in the process.   Recorded while the band stayed on a ranch just outside of LA in what Genevich describes as “a very therapeutic process”, the album features their full live band for the first time, including Dan Carr (bass) and Joe Taruone (drums). In the lead up to the album’s release, the four-piece have also completed two extensive headline tours across the US.   Currently signed to VT/NY-based label PaperCup Music, Laveda has released ‘A Place You Grew Up In’. An album that draws from the darkest of times and reflects in the half-light that comes with the dawning of adulthood, expect a shimmering, sensory and sensitive album that shows a band whose bounds know no limits.
