Eye Flys ~ Reapers Gong ~ Dark Thoughts

AGE RESTRICTION: Only Ages 21+ can purchase tickets for this show. NO REFUNDS/EXCHANGES for anyone underage who purchases or attempts to use these tickets. Doors: 7:00 PM Show: 7:30 PMEYE FLYSEye Flys are a quintessentially Philadelphian band whose aggressive brand of noise rock is leading a wave of bands that harken back to classic era AmRep noise rock. Their rage is palpable and their wit is biting. Hailing from a city with a rich history of labor activism, long associated with the hard-working, the underdog, the everyman. The trio’s rounded nature, one of whom is an active trade union member, imbues their music with a distinctive fearlessness and honesty. Their acerbic wit swiftly whittles matters down to their element, often reveling in the perverse humor of our current state of being. Eye Flys are unsparingly heavy, driven by the colossal rhythm section of bassist Kevin Bernsten and drummer Patrick Forrest. Vocalist/guitarist Jake Smith delivers sharp humor with a healthy dose of venom and bile with each bestial growl while his dirty riffs roar at you.Reapers Gonghttps://damienrecords666.bandcamp.com/album/blood-rotDark Thoughtshttps://dark-thoughts.bandcamp.com/album/must-be-nice

Wayne Hancock ~ Mighty Joe Castro & The Gravamen

AGE RESTRICTION: Only Ages 21+ can purchase tickets for this show. NO REFUNDS/EXCHANGES for anyone underage who purchases or attempts to use these tickets. Doors: 7:30 PM Show: 8:00 PMWayne HancockThomas Wayne Hancock III (born May 1, 1965, in Dallas, Texas) better known as Wayne “The Train” Hancock, is an American singer-songwriter. Known as “The King of Juke Joint Swing,” his performances incorporate jazz, blues, western swing, country and rockabilly, styles of music that he began listening to as a kid. His influences include Jimmie Rodgers, Glenn Miller, Tommy Dorsey, Hank Thompson, Hank Williams and Hank Snow because they were all in his parents’ record collection.Mighty Joe Castro & The GravamenBased out of Philadelphia, PA, Ameripolitan rockabilly outfit, Mighty Joe Castro & The Gravamen is the latest musical project from accomplished collage artist and musician Mighty Joe Castro (ex-The Situation, The Lift Up). Influenced by 50’s Rock and Roll and infused with post modern Easter eggs cribbed from old episodes of MTV’s 120 Minutes, Mighty Joe Castro takes a modern, lyric driven approach to songwriting while The Gravamen layer on Jesus and Mary Chain-cover-Link Wray guitar atmosphere, booming doghouse bass and swinging beats. The quartet lurks at a crossroads where Sun Records and Creation Records meet. According to Joe Castro: “Our goal is to play original rock-n-roll, in the style of the pioneers, but update it lyrically and sonically. Take what we’ve learned, everything great that’s come after and go apply it to that original sound. What if Buddy Holly had access to a stack of effects pedals and some Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds records? That’s the ethos of the band.”https://open.spotify.com/artist/3leEk5CvB7d4Xz45mGq0vY?si=Dpge2xMWSAuAbos1q4uzYA

Bonginator ~ Frog Mallet ~ Body Farm

AGE RESTRICTION: Only Ages 21+ can purchase tickets for this show. NO REFUNDS/EXCHANGES for anyone underage who purchases or attempts to use these tickets.Doors: 7:00 PMShow: 7:30 PMBONGINATORIn late 2021, guitarist and vocalist Erik Thorstenn started writing demos for a yet undetermined death metal project born from his passion for cheesy 80’s movies and growing weed. Fast forward just one year later, and the band now known as Bonginator has made a crushing impact on the death metal scene. Bonginator is a stoner death metal band based out of Boston, MA, but don’t let the name fool you. Bonginator isn’t your everyday stoner band, they pack a serious punch of hardcore death riffs and gut ripping breakdowns that come together to create an experience that can only be described as “hands-free” if you know what I mean. Bonginator totes the phrase “Two-Stepping Neon Weed Death” as a means to simplify their hardcore, energetic, 80’s inspired weed-infused death metal sound into a cool phrase on a t-shirt. Since the official launch of the band on January 1, 2022, Bonginator has toured the country multiple times and released their debut EP, “The 1986 Doink City Massacre” on April 20, 2022 through Barbaric Brutality. Bonginator anticipates growing even larger with the release of their debut LP, “The Intergalactic Gorebong of Deathpot” which releases April 20, 2023, keeping true to this bands dedication to the crop. Bonginator has already released two singles off the album, “CHOPPED 2 PIECES” and “Zombie Party Rockers”, and the anticipation has only grown since. Bonginator is confident their music will change the game. FROG MALLET https://frogmallet.bandcamp.com/   BODY FARM https://sothisisprogress.bandcamp.com/track/body-farm
