Their brand new EP releases this winter, featuring a freaked-out take on alt-folk music Spotify The Tumblers With electrifying performances and bold, unfiltered songwriting, The Tumblers are bending the folk rock genre and capturing hearts as they take their show on the road from Brooklyn. “A fickle friend is my favorite enemy!” shouts lead singer Jack Crawford-Brown into the mic, and the crowd answers, “Enemy!” as the band jumps in unison like a punk band decided to pick up a banjo and a violin. They’re excited to share their new single ‘Yosemite’, out Sept 12, as well as a parade of new songs following up a lauded debut album earlier in the year. Passion By Proxy Passion by Proxy is a four piece rock band out of Phoenixville, PA. They have been described as The Dark Passenger of Indie Rock, the Second Coming of Second Wave Emo, and The Opposite of Stomp Clap. Their debut single “I Won’t Be (Long)” is out now with a new EP full of twists and turns on the horizon this fall.

Doors: 7:00 PM Show: 7:30 PM SMALL FORWARD Eliza Claffy is a musician, songwriter, and artist from West Chester, Pennsylvania. Her music taps into a childlike dream state that places listeners into a playground of sound and melody. Growing up on punk, jazz, and baroque pop has led to her own unique blend called “Ratatat”. Music might have a crush on her. We’re not sure (it hasn’t returned our calls yet). Charmspeak draws on inspiration from the indie rock, alternative, and jazz scenes here in Philly and around the world. What began as a recording project quickly developed into a dynamic live act featuring Abbe Charernsook on vocals, Mason Kunttu on guitar, Dan Goldberg on drums, and Max Fabiszewski on bass.
