Formed in the mid 90s by bassist/singer/songwriter Chris Kosnik,guitarist Ed Mundell,and drummer Keith Ackerman,their first self titled album “THE ATOMIC BITCHWAX” was released in 1999 with the N.Y.C. label TeePee Records establishing them with audiences of the burgeoning “Stoner Rock” comunity. Current lineup Featuring Kosnik,drummer Bob Pantella and guitarist Garrett Sweeny (all also of MONSTER MAGNET past and present) the band has perfected its unique style of hard rock that High Times magazine appropriately dubbed “thunder-boogie” As of 2022 the band has released nine studio albums and have performed over 1,500 live concerts worldwide. Thank You, I’m Sorry is growing, leaming, indulging, experimenting and figuring it out. Together. Thank You, I’m Sorry came together as a band to flesh out quiet, lonely songs Lleen built on their own, and they haven’t stopped exploring and expanding their sound since. Bee Schreiner’s (they/them) basslines effortlessly pull songs forward, knowing just when to nudge the band to avoid getting caught in an anxiety spiral. The drums from Sage Livergood (they/them) bring everything together, constantly keeping pace while poking out into fills that feel like they could shatter apart at any moment, yet always finding their way back. Abe Anderson’s (he/him) and Lleen’s guitar lines intertwine and bounce, refusing to sit still anywhere long enough to get bored. Since then, Fuck You, Tammy! has expanded their repertoire to include more songs from the David Lynch Extended Cinematic Universe [Lost Highway, Wild At Heart, Blue Velvet, and more] while developing an avid following.
