Doors: 6:00 PMShow: 6:30 PM Writhing Squares https://thewrithingsquares.bandcamp.com https://www.instagram.com/writhingsquares Inner-city kosmische skronk perpetrated by Kevin Nickles (Ecstatic Vision) and Daniel Provenzano (Purling Hiss). “Rings like an alarm bell set to strains of cosmic funk, synth-punk, and acid-dipped jazz… When we rise from the ashes, Writhing Squares will be the house band at the end of the world.” — Raven Sings The Blues Minibeast (Providence) https://minibeast.bandcamp.com https://www.instagram.com/minibeast_ism Liquid music led by sonic hypnotist Peter Prescott (Mission of Burma) and driven straight to the dome by the blistering rhythm section of Keith Seidel on drums and Niels LaWhite on bass. “Minibeast’s music may be minimal in structure, but it sure isn’t minimal in execution. You can practically feel the blisters forming on the trio’s fingers as they bash out this sometimes borderline barbaric and sometimes eerily mystic blend of non-rock rock music.” — PopMatters Bitter Wish (ex-Bardo Pond) https://bitterwish.bandcamp.com https://www.instagram.com/bitterwishmaster Rope Trick https://ropetrickband.bandcamp.com https://instagram.com/ropetrickband

Doors: 7:00 PMShow: 8:00 PM Big ShrimpBig Shrimp, formerly known as Baked Shrimp, is reborn with a new lineup and an invigorated sound, ready to take the music world by storm. The versatile quartet is home to Bridgeport, CT, and features established members Jared Sage Cowen (Guitar/Vocals) and Jager Soss (Drums/Vocals), along with new additions Max Perrotti (Bass/Vocals) and Matt Takesh (Keyboard/Vocals). Their transformation from a power trio to a quartet has expanded their musical horizons, blending risk-taking progressive fusion rock with fresh, polished, innovative elements. Since their original formation in 2017, the band’s high-octane energy, unique songwriting, and improvisational prowess have secured them a prominent spot in the festival circuit. Known as the hardest-working band in the business, they performed over 215 concerts between 2022 and 2023. Last summer, they made their debut at prestigious festivals like Peach Music Festival, Summer Camp Music Festival, Northlands Live, and Mile of Music. In addition to these festival appearances, they had the honor of supporting acts such as Phil Lesh of the Grateful Dead, The Disco Biscuits, Dopapod, Twiddle, and Andy Frasco & The U.N. Despite their relentless touring schedule, the band consistently released new music, including their latest fifth album, “Baked Shrimp.” This album featured songs like “Chop Suey” and “Can’t Cut the Mustard,” which earned an honorable spot on the Spotify editorial playlist “Modern Jam Band.” Uncle Kunkel’s One Gram Band Qwayhttps://www.instagram.com/qwayband/

Ehiorobo & Icarus Moth ~ 92elm ~ Kilamanzego
AGE RESTRICTION: Only Ages 21+ can purchase tickets for this show. NO REFUNDS/EXCHANGES for anyone underage who purchases or attempts to use these tickets. Doors: 7:00 PMShow: 7:30 PM Ehiorobo & Icarus MothOn the heels of the release for their new collaborative EP titled ‘Mutamelior’, alternative r&b singer-songwriter/musician Ehiorobo and pop-electronic musician/composer and producer Icarus Moth are embarking on a 6-show tour across cities in northeast USA. Their three-track EP includes an exploration of genres and styles mainly referencing r&b and hip-hop, strains of EDM such as house music and UK-Garage, as well as pop-contemporary. With the project being patiently created at Icarus Moth’s home studio through the course of 3-4 years betwixt other releases and plans, the EP title and phrase “Mutamelior” is Latin hodge-podge meaning “to change is for the better”, and was intentionally coined in describing the artists’ shared sentiment in how their respective musical journeys and broader lives have evolved since the time in which they first came in contact. Ehiorobo recalls listening back to the tracklist of songs found on the project and claims that they somehow happen to be organized on a scale from seemingly lacking hope to incredibly hopeful – hence, the run of performances around the release being titled ‘The Hope Gradient Tour’. The two musicians (Ehiorobo and Icarus Moth) hail from their artist project’s beginnings in the mid-2010’s era of Soundcloud and have a history of collaboration both via self-release and label releases namely through Canadian electronic music label Monstercat. Having brushed paths with various contemporaries including both sharing a tour caravan with MOTHICA, as well as different collaborations with artists like Flamingosis and members of Night Owl Collective – Ehiorobo & Icarus Moth initially met in 2016 at an internet Soundcloud community jam-session organized by the Night Owl team in Austin, TX at SXSW. Approximately 8 years later and after multiple individual project releases & tours, dozens of millions of streams and even being roommates for some time in Brooklyn NY, the two are primed to share their newest project and performances across Boston, DC, NYC, Philadelphia, and more. 92elm92elm is a music producer, audio engineer & sound designer based in Philadelphia, PA. Escape from the Zoo ~ Hans Gruber & the Die Hards ~ The Looms ~ Matt Pless
AGE RESTRICTION: Only Ages 21+ can purchase tickets for this show. NO REFUNDS/EXCHANGES for anyone underage who purchases or attempts to use these tickets. Doors: 7:00 PMShow: 7:30 PM Escape from the ZooIt’s very rare to find music that makes you think, feel and want to mosh simultaneously, but with Countin’ Cards, Escape From The Zoo has struck the perfect balance between all three. It’s something that the band – the louder, faster, punk project that Days N’ Daze’s Jesse Sendejas co-founded with his wife Veronica – has always done, but never quite to this extent. Much of that is down to the circumstances that led up to the recording of these nine songs – most obviously a global pandemic that allowed for intense self-reflection. That was true for both Sendejas and We The Heathens’ Elliot Lozier, who recorded this album and played bass and drums on it.“I think both of us were sitting at home with not much to do,” recalls Sendejas. “It was probably a really introspective handful of months for everybody, but we both get stuck in our heads a lot. We get hit hard with waves of solipsism, where it feels like we’re the only people on the planet. That’s a weird and scary feeling, and it forces you to look at yourself because that’s the only thing that feels real at the time. So a lot these songs are Elliot and I sorting through thoughts and feelings and trying to make sense of why we’re having them and what they mean.” That solipsistic self-awareness coincided with something equally as influential and important for Sendejas – the fact that, on a tour Days N’ Daze went on just before the pandemic hit, he got sober. So not only do these songs offer up deep and poignant existential questions about life – as well as the social and political constructs that surround and consume it – but they’re also a reflection of Sendejas’ newfound clarity and the path he’s now trying to take.“I’ve definitely not been without my slipups,” he admits. “A lot of the album is about trying to be a better friend and bandmate and person overall, and struggling with wanting to do that really, really badly – but also knowing that instant escape and gratification and comfort is a drink or a pill away. And I’m just trying to reason that in my mind, and find a path that seems doable and one that I can actually stay on for once.” Hans Gruber and the Die HardsHans Gruber and the Die Hards brand of punk/ska mashes genres together like a toddler eating chocolate cake – with messy intensity for maximum enjoyment. From Boston hardcore to Colombian cumbia, southern gospel to crossover thrash, their live shows are filled with pits, sock puppets, conga lines and confusion – if you are nihilistic enough to jump in feet first. Elucid ~ Cavalier
AGE RESTRICTION: Only Ages 21+ can purchase tickets for this show. NO REFUNDS/EXCHANGES for anyone underage who purchases or attempts to use these tickets. Doors: 7:00 PMShow: 7:30 PM ElucidA raw, crackling urgency runs through rapper-producer ELUCID’s new album REVELATOR like an underground power line. There is no space here for sepia-toned reminiscences or indulgent self-mythologizing. Intellectual rabbit holes have been filled in with concrete and rebar; there is nowhere to hide and no off ramp from the audio Autobahn that ELUCID has fashioned—a renegade Robert Moses with gold fronts, bulldozing the homes of the powerful and the complicit. REVELATOR brims with the energy of now, with a refusal to look away. Carpe diem in a murder one mask. Born in Jamaica, Queens, ELUCID has been on the cutting edge of New York’s underground scene since the mid-2000s. From the beginning, he has defied both convention and expectation. He ran with Okayplayer darlings Tanya Morgan, but his own music eschewed their throwback charm for glitchy noise experiments and bass-swamped culture jamming. His 2016 debut studio project Save Yourself (re-released in a deluxe edition last year) announced him in earnest. But in recent years, his Armand Hammer releases with partner-in-crime billy woods have received significant attention and acclaim. Serving as a followup to his last solo album—2022’s comparatively balmy I Told Bessie—ELUCID hoped to “re-distinguish” himself with REVELATOR, setting himself apart amidst the increasing attention around the music he and his friends are making together. https://elucid.bandcamp.com/album/revelator Cavalier
