His unique blend of relatable melody and wanderlust takes us on a soulful exploration of Smokeyy’s life experiences leaving fans wanting to know more. 
 Smokeyy has been in various musical projects beginning at the age of 15. He has taught himself how to play the drums and guitar, as well as other instruments. While living the band life was great, Smokeyy discovered a new passion for producing, which introduces who he is today.

Yet, the melodic vocabulary this young band already displays shows a way out of these uneasy moments.  Most twentythreenineteen songs unfold in a similar manner: the band wraps their textures in light, delicate frameworks that can veer off in manic directions that are anchored by McCall’s misty vocal presence and flanked by close friends.

The project name, Sign Crushes Motorist, is the title of a Duster song. McCay has also cited the late Apistat Commander as an influence.Sign Crushes Motorist is just one of McCay’s pseudonyms which also includes Take Care, Birth Day, Make His Ribs Show, Manta, Hold, Miserable Teens Club, Roaming, Death Trap, Moon Water ,etc.Olivia ORewRew is a dedicated musician from the suburbs of Delaware, shapes his unique sound from shoegaze, emo, grunge, and bedroom pop influences. Overseeing every step of the process — from writing and recording to mixing and mastering — he creates authentic music that resonates with many. His lyrics, deeply personal yet universally relatable, strike a chord with listeners. Working from his Delaware base, Rew quietly enriches the alternative music scene with his heartfelt compositions. REWIN is his first LP to be released on Philadelphia’s Born Losers Records.
