A captivating presence both on record and onstage, her hypnotically seductive voice and striking visual presentation have won her an ever expanding army of devoted fans. A starring role as FBI agent Tammy Peterson in Lynch’s 2017 revival of Twin Peaks only served to confirm the scope of her considerable talents. Time Magazine called it “the show of the decade.” Her fifth studio album Midnight Star finds her ambitions soaring, with the songs crafting a riveting and conceptual narrative around humanity’s harrowing, failing relationship with this planet Earth. The guitars and drums have also been replaced by synths (a highlight is her astonishing cover of the Psychedelic Furs classic “Love My Way”), marking a fascinating shift in her creative vision – and making for a truly unparalleled modern pop record.https://chrystabell.com/EVIL SWORDBetween life and death, laughter and slaughter, you’ll find EvilSword. Liily ~ Model/Actriz ~ Catcher

*All events are 21+ valid ID required for entry*7 PM Doors7:30 PM ShowLIILY Liily is an alternative rock & roll band born and bred in Los Angeles. Liily makes music that draws on all the jagged stimuli of their upbringings to make something distinctly their own. It is a sound that invokes some of their genre’s greatest forebearers (Jane’s Addiction, Foals) and the massive heavy riffs of Rage Against the Machine. The band is led by vocalist Dylan Nash, guitarist and lead visual artist Sam De La Torre, bass player Charlie Anastasis, and Maxx Morando, a drummer who may simply play faster and harder than any drummer on the planet and who is the lynchpin behind Liily’s memorably visceral live performances. Nearly one year from the release of their first single “Toro,” Liily have traveled nonstop across the US, UK, & EU, with slots at Lollapalooza, Shaky Knees and Bonnaroo, as well as festival performance in as far-reaching territories as the Czech Republic. Liily’s first EP I Can Fool Anybody In This Town dropped in March 2019. They followed the release with a live concert documentary entitled CITY/VALLEY: a Concert Film of the Brekfest Festival documenting the band’s own homegrown festival Brekfest, a now annual event created by the band and their label in LA. CLASH magazine say “Liily have a dynamic that is all their own, matching angular songwriting to sheer relentless desire.”https://www.liilytheband.com/MODEL/ACTRIZhttps://modelactriz.com/CATCHERCatcher is a Brooklyn-based post-punk band with a reputation for visceral and powerful live performances. Drawing comparisons to the birthday party, sonic youth and the fall, catcher delivers music with a driving and inundating low-end, provided by childhood friends Cameron Mcrae and Wilson Chestney, on bass and drums respectively. Guitarists Jack Young and Christian Reech interweave melodies and noise to create an environment that manages to be at once both bleak and moving, desolate but hopeful, violent but tender. Classically trained violinist Zach Mezzo brings, through his background in experimental composition, a combination of moody swells, driving staccatos, and vicious noise that enrich and accentuate the dynamics and dramatics inherent to the band’s songwriting. Vocalist Austin Eichler commands listeners with a domineering and chaotic presence. From drawling croons to powerful screams, Austin’s narrative lyrics invoke a wide spectrum of emotion while creating a world of their own. Through endless hours of practice and work the band has crafted a gripping and tight live performance and a growing international fanbase.https://www.etix.com/ticket/p/8628422/liily-modelactriz-catcher-philadelphia-silk-city
Bad Bad Hats ~ The Gully Boys

*Proof of Covid-19 vaccination required for entry**Attendees are encouraged to wear masks while not actively drinking* BAD BAD HATSBad Bad Hats are an indie rock trio from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Known for bringing a joyful, exuberant presence to their live shows, touring with The Beths, Margaret Glaspy, The Front Bottoms, Hippo Campus, and Third Eye Blind, the group took specific care to bring their fun-loving spirit to their third LP, Walkman. Kerry (guitar/vocals), Chris (bass), and Con (drums) let their collective hair down on Walkman, bringing raucous and explosive riffs alongside witty lyrics. Though you might not notice from their indie rock exterior, Bad Bad Hats draws a heavy influence from classic pop songwriting that shines through in their hooky choruses and strong melodic sensibilities. https://www.badbadhats.com/THE GULLY BOYSThe Gully Boys origin story plays out like the perfect domino effect. While sorting vintage clothes in a Minneapolis-area Ragstock in 2016, Kathy Callahan (she/her) shared her dream of becoming a vocalist with Nadirah McGill (they/them). After encouraging a friend from middle school, Natalie Klemond (she/her), to join the trio on bass, Nadi picked up a pair of drumsticks and counted off a cover of Best Coast’s “Girlfriend.” From there, they had to master their instruments on the fly, growing as creatives while blossoming with their first material. After their debut EP landed online a year later, Gully Boys released their debut LP Not So Brave in 2018, earning Best New Band honors from their hometown City Pages and sharing the stage with everyone from The Hold Steady to Third Eye Blind. The band’s Phony EP arrived in late 2019 on the edge of a screeching halt. https://www.gullyboysband.com/Attendees will be required to show proof of Covid-19 vaccination for entry to this event. Please note that negative PCR / antigen test results will not be accepted. New Enemies (EP Release) ~ Mildred

*All events are 21+ valid ID required for entry*8 PM Doors8:30 PM ShowNEW ENEMIES (EP RELEASE) Former members of the Philadelphia-based band, Turning Violet Violet, came together to make New Enemies. Exploring themes of life, coming of age, and loss, they marry synths, washed-out guitars, and a driving rhythm section. Led by vocalist/songwriter Sarah Gulish, New Enemies plays earnest songs with catchy melodies and drifting guitar lines. Their 2016 was hailed as a beautiful new beginning for the band of friends. Journalist Julie Miller reviewed the songs as “majestic in a somber, soft way, billowing up in a cloud of horns as Sarah Gulish’s vocals float in layers over top. The chamber rock of TVV’s songs still ripples underneath, but as New Enemies, they’ve added a shiny gloss of atmospheric pop that ties it all together in a Death Cab-meets-CHVRCHES kind of way.” In Spring 2022, N.E. is back with a self-titled E.P. and a string of east coast shows.MILDRED Mildred is the project of Philly musicians Salina Kuo, Maggy Simon, Hannah Jordan, Natalia Bellini, and Melissa Schepers. Named after the street some members lived on together, Mildred was born in an effort to play music and feel connected. They combine guitar, bass, drums, and sometimes ukulele and mandolin with overlapping violin melodies that blend western classical, pop and folk. Mildred is looking forward to their debut EP release in spring of 2022.
Ecstatic Vision (Elusive Mojo Record Release) ~ Heavy Temple ~ Flatwaves

*All events are 21+ valid ID required for entry*7 PM Doors8 PM ShowECSTATIC VISION (ELUSIVE MOJO RECORD RELEASE SHOW)Elusive Mojo finds Ecstatic Vision firing on all cylinders with this unhinged, raw and dangerous new album. The band continues down their unique warpath mixing heavy psych rock, Detroit rock, proto-punk, and world music. The album contains caveman grooves that would rattle the remaining teeth out of the Asheton brother’s skulls, scorching saxophones that would make Nik Turner feel high on a potent mix of speed and Viagra, and basslines hot enough to melt down the Lemmy statue. Elusive Mojo was recorded live to 2” tape in their beloved hometown of Philadelphia by Joe Boldizar (Sonic Praise) with Bob Pantella (Monster Magnet), and mastered by their old drinking buddy Tim Green (Melvins). What emerged was a burly, timeless and unique sounding record that is hard to tell if it was recorded in 1971 or 2022.https://heavypsychsoundsrecords.bandcamp.com/album/ecstatic-vision-elusive-mojoHEAVY TEMPLEA trio of psychedelic doom metal deviants, here to take you on a wild ride. https://heavytemple.bandcamp.com/FLATWAVES A dusty acid trip in the desert, Flatwaves combines fuzzed out heavy instrumentals with reverb drenched vocals, culminating in a cauldron of sounds that is part garage rock, part shoegaze, part surf goth, and part psych that feels like surfing through existential dread.https://flatwaves.bandcamp.com/

Jay Aston’s Gene Loves Jezebel ~ Bootblacks ~ Rosegarden Funeral Party

*All events are 21+ valid ID required for entry*7 PM Doors7:30 PM ShowJAY ASTON’S GENE LOVES JEZEBELFor a band to stay relevant across decades is unusual — but to do so with much of the same line-up for most of that time is exceptional. Such is the case with Gene Loves Jezebel, which indicates that these musicians come together not only out of an appreciation for the memorable music they create, but also because they truly like and respect each other. Jay Aston (vocals), James Stevenson (guitars), Pete Rizzo (bass) and Chris Bell (drums) — with Peter Walsh producing — have created extraordinary GLJ songs for 30 years now. With their new album, they honour that legacy by expanding it.https://genelovesjezebel.co.uk/BOOTBLACKSBrooklyn post-punk.http://www.bootblacks.net/ROSEGARDEN FUNERAL PARTYRising from the inferno of heartbreak with a determination towards gentility, humility, graciousness, and kindness, Rosegarden Funeral Party takes influence from life’s tragedies and spins chaos into beauty. Leah Lane fronts the band with a voice like that of the lovechild between Morrissey and Siouxsie Sioux and her guitar playing has been compared to that of Daniel Ash. with bass playing that takes obvious inspiration from Peter Hook. With synths trapped in the loving arms of the 1980’s, rhythmic percussion and drums inspired by dark dance floors, Rosegarden Funeral Party prove to be the second-coming of traditional goth.https://www.rosegardenfuneralparty.com/
Bass Drum of Death

Bass Drum of Death are celebrating the 10th Anniversary of “GB City” (Fat Possum Records) by performing the album in its entirety. Bass Drum of Death are from Mississippi. John wrote and recorded the whole record himself using just a drum set, a guitar, a USB microphone, a computer and a shitload of talent. The songs are about drugs, panic attacks, stealing stuff, mild to severe depression, Elvis appearing in your dreams and giving you advice, gravity bongs and the devil living inside your brain. This record is the soundtrack playing in your head when you’re fucked up and walking home in the middle of the night, still after all of these years.https://www.bassdrumofdeath.com/CUMGIRL8https://cumgirl8band.bandcamp.com/album/ripcumgirl8MK & THE ULTRASFrom droned-out, ambient soundscapes, to frantic blasts of psych/surf mayhem, MK & The Ultras (featuring Matt Kelly of Philly’s Toy Soldiers) are always creating music that’s colorful and inviting.
