D.R.I. ~ Retox A.D. ~ Honey

D.R.I. We are a punk/metal crossover band with our roots set in hardcore. Established way back in 1982, we have about 10 CD’s & 2 DVD’s out on various labels and are considered to be one of the forefathers of speed metal and thrash punk music. We started out in Texas and moved to the Bay Area cause we heard the SF area had free food at the soup kitchens (from which the classic tune was written!!!!!)When we started our influences were bands like Black Flag and the Dead Kennedys. In 1982, our first release, which was really a demo, the 22-song 7″ EP, kickstarted our career as a formidable hardcore band. 22 songs in 17 minutes. Blistering fast, with on-the-dime cuts, and vocals to match. Said to contain the first grindcore blast ever recorded (No Sense). This record was later pressed into an LP, and was considered to be our first official release even though it was only 17 minutes. The 22-song debut eventually was combined with our second release, 1984’s Violent Pacification EP, and came out on CD in the mid-eighties, when that technology reached indie labels. In 1985 we started to listen to bands like Metallica & Slayer. Our second full length release Dealing with It, showed a progression to the metal side of the music genre. This album also was said to make an impact, and helped start the crossover movement. “We fused together our influences, and shoved into the DRI mold, Dealing With It is what came out”. DRI went on mixing its own brand of punk metal releasing: Crossover, Four of a Kind, Thrash Zone, Definition, a live album recorded in 1992, before releasing Full Speed Ahead in 1996 ; our last full length release. We have been re-issuing our old catalog with bonus tracks for the new millennium. We also got a bunch of Live DVD’s in the works, starting with the 1984 CBGB’s live DVD that came out in 2005. Summer of 2016 saw the release of the first new material in years. But Wait..THERE’s MORE came out as a 7″/12″ and CD.The band currently consists of original core members and song writing team, Spike Cassidy (guitar) and Kurt Brecht (vocals), along with Gregg Orr (bass) and Rob Rampy (drums). We are that band with the skanker in the circle. You know, the running man. The mosher. We appeared on a Beavis & Butthead episode. We also held the Guinness Book record for fastest band in the world, back in the day. We played with just about every major band you can name, and most festivals in our travels around the world for over three decades. We now have over 120 DRI songs under our belt, and still play about 35 or so when we play live.RETOX A.D.Wisconsin based hardcore punk featuring members Wartorn, Choose Your Poison, Lion Slicer, Alleyway.https://re-toxad.bandcamp.com/album/rabid-dogHONEYhttps://honey-philly.bandcamp.com/
Signals Midwest ~ Downhaul ~ Five Hundred Bucks

*All events are 21+ valid ID required for entry*7 PM Doors7:30 PM ShowSIGNALS MIDWESTDENT is the fifth LP from Cleveland, OH rock band Signals Midwest, recorded by J. Robbins (Against Me!, Jets to Brazil, The Promise Ring). Inspired by a stolen and ultimately totaled van, the album confronts the uncertainty of a world at halt, and transmits the shaken-up-soda-can energy that fueled its writing process. With a feedback squeal and a quick four-count, DENT hits the ground running, and what follows is just over a half-hour’s worth of big songs about little moments, ominous futures, the lure of nostalgia, and finding shards of peace in an almost all-consuming wreckage. In a world up in flames, DENT is a project born from the ashes.https://signalsmidwest.bandcamp.com/DOWNHAULCommitment is messy. After five releases that swayed between plaintive indie-punk and the pull of alt-country, Downhaul has finished their decision dance. PROOF, the Richmond-via-Greensboro quartet’s sophomore LP, definitively steps towards a sound tangled in the dense mystery of the South rather than trailing the anthemic reaches of their contemporaries. Commitment is messy, uneven, and difficult—but commitment is a clear choice. With PROOF, Downhaul has chosen to be without equals at all. It’s a distinction you can prove.https://downhaul.bandcamp.com/FIVE HUNDRED BUCKShttps://fivehundredbucks.bandcamp.com/
Flasher ~ Mesh ~ Pinkwash

*All events are 21+ valid ID required for entry*7 PM Doors7:30 PM ShowFLASHERThe band’s 2018 debut, Constant Image, was a triumph – a set of songs both dizzy and explosive, balancing new-wave lushness and post-punk frenzy. Love is Yours steps up the ambition and reaches for the horizon. The record is ablaze with mood, melody, and carefully threaded hooks, finding the band foregrounding the pop sensibilities that had always been present in their previous releases. It retains the attitude that was fundamental to the band’s DIY roots, but cuts loose a touch of the angst. Though the songs process disillusionment and loss, the music evokes warmth and optimism. It is their best record and also their most generous.https://flasherdc.bandcamp.com/album/constant-imageMESHPhilly 4-piece punk band, Mesh, formed in late 2019 building their sound from 3 demos recorded by guitarist and vocalist Sims Hardin (Dark Web). Sims, joined by Allison Durham (posture) on guitar and vocals, Steve Darling (Mint) on drums, and Tom Riese (Mint) on bass have departed from the demos to create something more cohesive and diverse sounding. With the formation of the full band, Mesh’s sound is driven and angular, drawing inspiration from bands like Wire, UV Race and Swell Maps. Their debut tape is being released summer 2021 on Born Yesterday Records based in Chicago. https://meshphilly.bandcamp.com/PINKWASH PINKWASH is a heavy punk duo based out of West Philadelphia. After an EP and 7-inch released on Sister Polygon, their debut LP for Don Giovanni Records is out now. Splintered rhythms and ultra-loud riffs. https://pinkwash.bandcamp.com/
Greyhaven ~ LIMBS ~ The Callous Daoboys ~ Thotcrime

LIMBSLIMBS is a post-hardcore outfit hailing from Tampa Bay, Florida. Originally formed in 2013 under a different moniker, LIMBS released their debut album entitled ‘Dead Ends’ before undergoing a fairly drastic lineup change. After taking eight months for reformation, LIMBS regrouped and released their sophomore release ‘Admission,’ in late 2014, to copious amounts of positive feedback. In 2015, LIMBS toured the DIY circuits relentlessly, and released two independent singles. In March of 2015, LIMBS released the first single entitled ‘Poison,’ again receiving immense positive feedback. Two months later, in May of 2015, LIMBS released their second single of the year entitled ‘Ruin.’ In 2016, LIMBS ventured on a southeastern tour with Saosin and also performed at the South By So What?! Music Festival in Dallas, Texas. The band recorded a 3 song EP entitled ‘SLEEP,’ mixed by Beau Burchell (Saosin) and mastered by Mike Kalajian – released in April of 2017. In 2017, LIMBS joined up with Royal Division Entertainment for management, and soon set out to support Envy on the Coast on select dates in the southeast. Following that, the band trekked across the country supporting Hail The Sun on their nationwide headliner. In September of 2017, LIMBS announced their signing to Equal Vision Records. Their recently released EP, ‘SLEEP,’ has now been re-recorded under the production of Tim McTague (Underoath), remixed by Beau Burchell, and will be re-released by Equal Vision Records featuring new songs not heard on the previous rendition. As the latter half of 2017 approaches a new year, the band has no plans to slow down; a fall tour in support of their re-released EP, and winter recording plans are already set. Michael Dreaming ~ Dan Ex Machina ~ Rest Etiquette

MICHAEL DREAMINGMichael Dreaming was born under the shadow of the space needle at some sketchy bus stop on 3rd avenue in Seattle. His debut EP, “27” was slated for release in March 2020. Covid had other plans. Michael loaded up a van and moved cross-country, eventually landing in Philly. Embracing the brotherly love, a project that could’ve easily keeled over, was given new life. Now a five piece band blending basement tapes era folk/rock with 90s style alternative. The sounds are familiar, but they bite. They feel like home, but they feel like outer space. Listen to “27” wherever music is streamedhttps://michaeldreaming.bandcamp.com/ DAN EX MACHINADan Ex Machina began as a solo project 20 years ago and became a full band of alternative/punk rockers in 2011, with two albums and one EP under our belts and a new full-length coming this spring. In the last decade, DXM has shared the stage with Low Cut Connie, Wussy, David Bello (The World Is a Beautiful Place), The Shondes, Tim Fite, Peaer, and countless entertainers in the NJ and Philly indie scene. In 2020, NJ.com named us one of the 31 Best Bands in New Jersey, and Robert Christgau webmaster/Village Voice contributor Tom Hull called Dan “A reliable pop/rock junkie…smart and/or clever,” both of which he is not. We also covered Ariana Grande for a BLM-themed single with all proceeds going to Blackandpink.org, an organization to benefit trans POC prisoners. Our action-packed new “Plead Insanity” video is out now.https://danexmachina.bandcamp.com/REST ETIQUETTERest Etiquette are a folk/post punk band from Philly who just released their debut full length album ‘Grow Mold’ in December 2021. https://restetiquette.bandcamp.com/
TIOGA ~ Scorpio

*All events are 21+ valid ID required for entry*7 PM Doors8 PM ShowTIOGASandwiched between citywides and cheesesteaks, you’ll find the stomping grounds of TIOGA, a quartet that sounds like they grew up on New Order and Springsteen, but listened to a lot of The Killers and Bleachers as impressionable college kids. The group marries their meaningful lyricism and endearing style of alternative indie with a hearty bass and danceable synth-pop sound. Their homebase now extends beyond the confines of Philadelphia, and as far as the Big Apple. TIOGA sounds like if Jack Antonoff and Brandon Flowers went to a karaoke bar and sang Talking Heads songs until they got kicked out and then mumbled David Bowie songs to themselves on the walk home.https://tiogatheband.com/(Photo: Carol Simpson)SCORPIOEast coast bb // diet coke drama queenhttps://open.spotify.com/artist/0qYpoq6SzqQsmkZtRBm4pH

With an underground modern day classic in “Push Off,” as well as an ever growing and beloved fan base and catalogue, they’ve generated 100’s of millions of streams across the globe, all while retaining 100% ownership, independence and remaining loyal to their DIY ethos. “The Palms have shifted toward creating music that is as catchy as pop, yet melded with poignant elements of blues, hip-hop, rock, and reggae. Rothbard’s distinct vocals also invite the listener into each track, allowing the duo’s intended messages to come through while simultaneously leaving space for individual interpretations.” – Interview Magazine
Pink Mountaintops ~ Ashley Shadow ~ Northern Breaks

*All events are 21+ valid ID required for entry*6:30 PM Doors7 PM ShowPINK MOUNTAINTOPSSince their 2004 self-titled debut, Pink Mountaintops have supplied an outlet for the more arcane fascinations of Black Mountain frontman Stephen McBean. On Peacock Pools—Pink Mountaintops’ first new music in eight years—the British Columbia-born singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist shares 12 songs sparked from his magpie-like curiosity for a wild expanse of cultural artifacts: the sci-fi body horror of David Cronenberg, Disney Read-Along Records from the 1970s, early Pink Floyd and mid-career Gary Numan, John Carpenter movies, Ornette Coleman live videos, a 1991 essay on the cult of bodybuilding by postmodern feminist Camille Paglia. Featuring counterculture icons like Steven McDonald of Redd Kross and Dale Crover of Melvins, Peacock Pools alchemizes those obsessions into a body of work with its own enchanting power, the sonic equivalent of falling down a thousand rabbit holes at once and landing somewhere gloriously strange. Pink Mountaintops’ fifth full-length and debut release for ATO Records, Peacock Pools took shape from a batch of songs McBean first pieced together in the early days of the pandemic. “I’d moved into this cool little ’50s rancher house outside L.A. and was just mucking about in my bedroom studio, and pretty soon I started reaching out to some friends who were also shacked up and craving broadband sonic collaboration,” he recalls. Over the coming months, McBean began working remotely with a stacked lineup of musicians from the indie-rock and psych-pop and garage-punk worlds, including drummer/pianist Joshua Wells (Destroyer, Black Mountain), violinist/vocalist Laena Myers-Ionita (Feels, Death Valley Girls), drummer Ryan Jewell (Riley Walker, Steve Gunn), vocalist Emily Rose Epstein (Ty Segall, Emily Rose & The Rounders), and keyboardist Jeremy Schmidt (Black Mountain, Sinoia Caves). Produced by McBean and mixed in Vancouver by former Skinny Puppy member Dave “Rave” Ogilvie (David Bowie, Nine Inch Nails), Peacock Pools also features several songs recorded live in L.A. with McDonald and Crover, ultimately forming Pink Mountaintops most eclectic and magnificently unpredictable album to date. ASHLEY SHADOWWith the release of her eponymous first record, Ashley Shadow has at long last taken centre stage after over a decade of valuable contributions to highly regarded, diverse musical acts. Though possessing a voice of crystal clear beauty, Ashley spent the first five years of her musical career playing bass guitar for rock-noir outfit The Organ before recording and/or touring with Bonnie Prince Billy, Pink Mountaintops and Lightning Dust.https://ashleyshadow.bandcamp.com/NORTHERN BREAKSFour old friends playing guitar music for the Philadelphia coasthttps://northernbreaks.bandcamp.com/releases
**CANCELED** Glassio ~ Party Nails ~ Sulene

*All events are 21+ valid ID required for entry*7 PM Doors7:30 PM ShowGLASSIOGlassio is the Dream-Pop/Alt-Dance project of Irish-Iranian singer, songwriter and producer Sam R. Over the past 5 years, Glassio has carved a unique world and sound out of the electronic music scene in Brooklyn, oftentimes meshing influences from folk, early house, and new wave with lush harmonies and wistful melodies. His music has been described as “a record Crosby, Stills and Nash would have possibly made had they spent a Summer in Ibiza in 1987 on Ecstasy.” PARTY NAILS Party Nails is the raucous alt-pop songstress Elana Carroll. Her music draws comparisons to Robyn, Madonna and Hayley Williams, and has been covered by Billboard, Noisey, American Songwriter and featured in television and film. On tour she performs with just one other musician on stage, the equally captivating and energetic drummer Anna Crane (known professionally as simply “Crane”). Together they rip up the stage and invite you to dance, sweat, and maybe even shed a (cathartic) tear.
