**CANCELED** Non Phixion ~ Kxng Charisma ~ ELEMXNT (The Loft)

**All shows 21+—valid ID required** Doors: 8:00 PM Show: 9:00 PM Dave Kiss Presents and Warehouse on Watts are very excited to bring you Non Phixion, live in Philadelphia for the 20th Anniversary of #TheFutureIsNow live on April 13, 2023Kxng CharismaKxng Charisma is a 23 year old emcee from Philadelphia, PA. He prides himself on separating himself from his peers due to his “student of the game” mentality being the fact he grew up in a family surrounded by talented emcees such as Planetary & Crypt The Warchild from Outerspace (father and uncle) and King Syze (uncle). He has a very distinct underground, grimy sound that is unique for emcees in his age bracket. Complex & slick lyricism mixed with beats that’ll make you wanna run through a wall. His most recent project Murders At The Met Gala has been well received from plenty of the fans he’s gained through affiliations over the years. His other best-known projects are his collaboration projects with his brother (ELEMXNT) and there’s plenty more to come. http://li.sten.to/metgalaalbumELEMXNTELEMXNT is a 20 yr old independent rapper & producer from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He’s mostly known for his collaborations with his blood brothers Kxng Charisma & Trxstworthy throughout the 7+ years the brothers have been making music. ELEMXNT’s signature sound was something that would constantly change on his search to find what suits him best. He’s now found himself bringing forward a very dark & sinister but yet powerful kind of sound, mainly due to family inspirations like his father & uncles (Outespace/AOTP). Before rapping, ELEMXNT was a producer, so it’s only right that 99% of his solo work is self-produced. In late February of 2023, ELEMXNT released an album titled “Murder Confirmations” which was hands down his most successful album release. He’s only getting started in his career so fans that are in, are in for the long run.https://linktr.ee/elemxnt555

Live Skull ~ Martin Bisi Band ~ Bitter Wish

**All shows 21+—valid ID required** Doors: 7:00 PM Show: 7:30 PM Live SkullEmerging in the early 80s at the end of New York’s legendary No Wave scene, Live Skull reshaped the aggression of burned-out post-punk into heavy, guitar-driven rock. Mark C and his fellow founder, guitarist Tom Paine, were inspired by the nihilistic sounds of No New York and the dissonant walls of Glenn Branca and Rhys Chatham. Like their Manhattan comrades Sonic Youth and Swans, Live Skull funneled those influences into hard-edged music that valued melody as much as anarchy. “We loved the noise and the chaos that was happening in the No Wave bands,” says Mark. “But we really tried to fit it into a song.” Over the next decade, Live Skull released five albums and three EPs with a rotating cast of 11 members, all of whom added new ideas to the group’s evolving sound. Themes of struggle and chaos egged them on. www.facebook.com/liveskullofficial Martin Bisi BandMartin Bisi has been a central figure in the musical history of New York City for the past four decades. Founding Brooklyn’s BC Studio in 1981, he has helped develop post-Punk, No Wave and experimental culture through recordings of Brian Eno (On Land), Sonic Youth, Swans, John Zorn, Africa Bambaataa, JG Thirlwell, Unsane, Cop Shoot Cop, Herbie Hancock’s “Rockit”, Live Skull,  White Hills, Dresden Dolls and countless others. website: http://www.martinbisi.comBitter WishFormed in Philadelphia during the Covid days of fall 2021, Bitter Wish is a psychedelic power trio comprising guitarist John Comune (Strawberry Hands/Roadkiller), bassist Clint Takeda (Bardo Pond/Double Wig) and percussionist Scott Verrastro (Kohoutek/Heavy Lidders). While the band doesn’t stray too far from its Bardo Pond and Kohoutek roots, they incorporate more repetition and minimalism into their fuzzy vibe. Think OM and Earthless meets Loop and Skullflower. https://bitterwish.bandcamp.com/track/candle-finger
