The Madeleine Haze ~ Zack Devine
AGE RESTRICTION: Only Ages 21+ can purchase tickets for this show. NO REFUNDS/EXCHANGES for anyone underage who purchases or attempts to use these tickets. Doors: 7:00 PMShow: 7:40 PM The Madeleine HazeOver the past couple decades, the Philadelphia area has produced dozens of incredible hard-hitting bands; yet, none have matched the raw energy, technical prowess, and songwriting excellence of progressive metal/hard rock trio The Madeleine Haze. The project began in 2009, with singer/guitarist Zack Devine touring extensively in support of his first two killer records: 2010’s In Search of Lost Time and 2011’s A More Perfect Union. As great as those collections were, the group didn’t reach its full potential until Devine teamed up with bassist Richard Wilson in 2013 and drummer Dan Dalton in 2014. That same year, they created The Madeleine Haze’s magnum opus thus far – Noble Lies & Pious Frauds – an intellectually and musically stunning sequence that mixed the trio’s trademark chemistry with the dynamic magic of influences such as Dream Theater, Rush, Porcupine Tree, and Queensrÿche. Naturally, they toured Noble Lies & Pious Frauds as much as possible over the ensuring years amidst receiving plenty of praise from listeners, journalists, and even genre legends such as Mike Portnoy! Unfortunately, due to various unforeseen circumstances, the triowent on hiatus in 2018 (during the production of their fourth full-length record). Of course, they played a packed farewell show in Philadelphia beforehand, and since then, countless fans have wondered what the future of The Madeleine Haze would be—that is, until now, as Devine, Wilson, and Dalton recently announced their long-awaited reunion! In fact, The Madeleine Haze are delighted to announce that—after six years of inactive planning—they’re returning to the stage for a special evening of music in Philadelphia on December 28, 2024. Not only will it be a celebration of their return, but it will also be a way for the band and fans to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Noble Lies & Pious Frauds. Plus, they’ve got their sights set on completing and releasing the highly anticipated follow-up to that third record, as well as continuing to create more new music and dominate more live events moving forward. Without a doubt, the future has never been brighter for The Madeleine Haze, and they’d love for you to be a part of the newest phase of their journey! Zack Devine (Solo)

B. Dolan ~ Small Professor~ Darko the Super
AGE RESTRICTION: Only Ages 21+ can purchase tickets for this show. NO REFUNDS/EXCHANGES for anyone underage who purchases or attempts to use these tickets. Doors: 7:00 PMShow: 7:30 PM B. DolanIn the aftermath of an emergency spine surgery that radically altered his perspective and body, B. Dolan emerges after a four year hiatus from touring and releasing LPs with a new collection of songs, a new stage show, and a harrowing new story to tell. Written during COVID lockdown and his quarantined procedure and recovery, “The Wound is Not The Body” (a title sampled from Adrienne Maree Brown’s poem ‘The Founding Wound’) winds through 9 new rap songs littered with strange characters, pandemic fatigue, autobiographical thoughts on hip hop, living and aging, and resolve in the face of new challenges. Production from Ant, HEBL, Small Professor, Widowmaker and Dolan himself provide a soulful and minimalist backdrop, while B. Dolan gets some of the most carefully crafted bars of his life across in an unhurried, confident fashion. Aside from impeccable guest vocals from Nya Chomba (who is coincidentally tearing up the current season of “American Idol”) on two tracks and an appearance from Yah-Ra of Planet Asia for some spoken bars, the album is notably devoid of features. The emcee is front and center for this one, and the songs feel like tightly focused meditations on moments, impressions and memories. “The Wound is Not The Body” features a narrator writing alone in recovery, sounding like he and his work have been torn down and rebuilt from the ground up. The album is mixed by DS3K and mastered by Daddy Kev. Available direct from B. Dolan or via Symphonic Distro (US) and Speech Development Records / The Orchard (EU).https://iambdolan.com/ Small ProfessorHailing from the City Of Brotherly Love, for two decades Small Professor aka Small Pro has been consistently pumping out hard hitting and integral production for notable names such as Sean Price, Guilty Simpson, Armand Hammer and providing beats for the Wrecking Crew (rappers Curly Castro, Zilla Rocca and PremRock), as well as his own brand of instrumental hip-hop, having released 6 different projects just this year. Armed with a tablet and what he calls his “tiny tables”, in a live setting you can expect to hear the sound and essence of east coast hip-hop from the perspective of both student, and teacher.https://www.instagram.com/smallpro Darko the SuperDarko the Super wrote his first song at the tender age of 5. Tokyo Rose ~ Desoto Jones ~ Days Like These ~ Grip on the World
AGE RESTRICTION: Only Ages 21+ can purchase tickets for this show. NO REFUNDS/EXCHANGES for anyone underage who purchases or attempts to use these tickets. Doors: 6:00 PM Show: 6:30 PMTOKYO ROSEAn emo-influenced pop-punk band from New Jersey, Tokyo Rose was formed in 2001, while singer and guitarist Ryan Dominguez and bassist Chris Poulsen were both students at Rutgers University. Though both were playing with other bands, the two shared similar musical interests and decided to launch a band of their own. Tokyo Rose played local shows when the members’ busy schedules permitted and they booked tours to coincide with vacations and between-term breaks. Tokyo Rose also recorded a self-released EP, Chasing Fireflies, which became the band’s calling card after Dominguez and Poulsen graduated and made the band a full-time priority. Following a number of personnel changes, the band had a solid lineup with the addition of Greg Doran on guitar and Jon Smith on drums, and in 2003, during a tour of California, the band signed a deal with the independent label Sidecho Records, who released the group’s first full-length album, Reinventing a Lost Art, in July 2003. Extensive touring followed, including playing the 2003 CMJ Festival, the 2004 South by Southwest Music Conference, and the 2004 Warped Tour. In 2005, after returning home from a tour of Japan, Tokyo Rose began work on their second album, New American Saint, which was released in October 2005 and featured a new lineup, with Josh Lurie taking over for Doran on guitar and Tom Roslak replacing Smith as drummer. Lots more touring followed, both in America and abroad, and by the time Tokyo Rose began work on their third album, Lurie and Roslak were out of the band, with Tokyo Rose reshaping themselves as a trio and Jake Margolis on board as their new drummer. The third album, Promise in Compromise, was released by Sidecho in July 2007. ~ Mark Deming, Rovihttps://open.spotify.com/artist/7faY5PGn1D0uQ2HTfBPmn9?si=hgr_2MASQmGUfmRgCoAWwADESOTO JONESRock & Roll is still very much alive. You can feel it in the raw energy of Desoto Jones, a band which blends contemporary sound with the roots of American Rock. The ragged intensity of Desoto Jones is reminiscent of the early days of grunge and alternative, but is also pleasantly sophisticated; the band skillfully fuses ear-grabbing melodies with soulful, introspective lyrics. Their music is an inquest of candid expression, but the band doesn’t try to wax philosophic; the lyrics grow from real, relatable experiences.Their music invokes a sense of nostalgia for the past, travelling deep to touch the most basic human emotions.https://desotojones.bandcamp.com/ DAYS LIKE THESEDays Like These is from Vineland, New Jersey.
