Me Nd Adam ~ mrnoname ~ Shadowmaker
**All shows 21+—valid ID required** Doors: 7:00 PM Show: 7:30 PM Me Nd Adamhttps://www.mendadam.com/mrnonamemrnoname is the end result of years of musical introspection from the now alt pop duo, which are composed of songwriter Noah Scheffey and drummer Logan Moyer. ‘Alive’ is one of ten new singles, all of which will be part of an upcoming concept album ‘Hallu’, a mysterious island that Noah defects to. On this journey, he realizes the only way that he will be able to escape is if he digs through his mind and truly discovers who he is. It is a self made trial that converses with themes such as existentialism, the yearning to be something, problems in the world and more.https://www.mrnoname.com/ShadowmakerShadowmaker is the name used to release the musical recordings of **** ********. The musical recordings, or shadows, serve as a guide to anyone seeking freedom from the cave. To understand the musical recordings is to realize one’s true nature of existence within the cave: to realize that one’s perceptions of the musical recordings, of Shadowmaker, and of all things are in fact mere shadows of a truer and more beautiful form. Through courageous action and an embrace of the unknown one may become freed from the darkness of the cave and be granted access to the external world, containing the sun. Upon contemplation of the sun, one may realize the true nature of one’s self and one’s reality, becoming enlightened. This is the task of all of us. It may be realized within a life full of blissful satisfaction and calm, or it may be ignored, resulting in a life fraught with confusion and longing.https://shadowmakermusic.com/

GOZU ~ Witching ~ Waillin’ Storms ~ Planning for Burial
**All shows 21+—valid ID required** Doors: 6:00 PM Show: 6:30 PMGOZUhttps://gozu.bandcamp.com/musicWitchingFormed in 2017 from the throes of Philadelphia, WITCHING have emerged as one the underground’s most exciting bands to watch out for. The band’s sound has evolved into genre-bending, nightmarish, blackened melodic death metal that embraces and embodies the fusion of pitch-black intensity through black metal, sludge, post-metal, and more. With a handful of independently released EP’s, singles, and a full length album under their belts, a new lineup featuring Jacqui Powell (vocals), Nate Zagrimanis (guitar), Tatiana Buonassisi (bass), Samantha Hyla (drums), and Hazel Whitman (guitar), WITCHING are calling out to unify the masses by bludgeoning their way into a world where everything is formulaically stacked against them. WITCHING is marking their own path and marching head-on into a hellish ouroboros of self-destruction and self-discovery to share triumph and perseverance.witching.bandcamp.comWailin’ Stormshttps://wailinstorms.bandcamp.com/Planning for BurialThe brainchild of American songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Thom Wasluck, Planning for Burial’s gloomy experimental metal borrows from shoegaze, goth, and alt-rock as well as doom, drone, and black metal. A one-man band (both in the studio and live), Wasluck began operating under the pseudonym in 2005, releasing the first in a string of downcast LPs and splits pairing the ominous black shoegaze of Jesu with the doomy and obsessive industrial metal of Fragile-era Nine Inch Nails. After playing in several bands while growing up in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, he conceived of Planning for Burial as a solo act in 2005. Wasluck released Planning for Burial’s debut album, Leaving, in 2009, and Enemies List Home Recordings reissued it a year later. The project built a following as Wasluck issued a steady stream of short releases, including two collaborations with Lonesummer on Music Ruins Lives and 2012’s Quietly on Tycho Magnetic Anomalies. After signing with The Flenser, Planning for Burial released its second full-length album, Desideratum (which included a credit for “whiskey” alongside more traditional instruments), in 2014. Wasluck returned two years later with the single “As a Lover,” and took inspiration from moving back into his childhood home for Planning for Burial’s third album, 2017’s Below the House. That same year, Wasluck issued Matawan: Collected Works 2010-2014, a compilation of out of print non-album tracks that he originally recorded in his former home of Matawan, New Jersey.https://open.spotify.com/artist/4nhaUpMjrBW8vywsP2yzzD
Honey Butter ~ Roberta Faceplant
**All shows 21+—valid ID required**Doors: 7:00 PMShow: 7:30 PMHONEY BUTTERKeeping with the tradition of Ken Kesey’s Acid Tests and Levon Helm’s Midnight Rambles, Honey Butter at its core is improvisational psychedelic music. No two performances are the same, no song is arranged like it’s studio recording. Featuring a rotating setlist of covers and medleys from Grateful Dead, The Band, Johnny Cash, The Rolling Stones, David Bowie, Elvis Costello, Joe Cocker, and many more, this road hardened group of Philadelphia musical veterans takes every party on a journey and every listener on a trip to the warm gooey center of rock and roll. InstagramROBERTA FACEPLANTStorming headfirst into a male-dominated musical format with rhinestones and fire-breathing rage, Roberta Faceplant is the emerging Alt-Country project of Philadelphia based singer-songwriter and You Do You front woman Katie Feeney. Her first single “Everything is Trash” received radio play and press coverage on KEXP 90.3 FM, Post To Wire, B-Sides & Badlands, Gimme Country, LonesomeHighway.com, Philly Live, the 25 O’Clock podcast, and more. Since her live stage debut in 2018, she has shared the stage with such artists as Maggie Koerner, Linda Gail Lewis, and Brule County Bad Boys. Roberta Faceplant’s songwriting style follows in the steps of classic country music greats like Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, and Dolly Parton, combined sonically with modern inspirations including Kacey Musgraves, Cary Ann Hearst, Shannon Shaw, and Pearl Charles, who all fuse Americana and Country with Rock, Pop, and other genres. Already dubbed a songwriting force with “sass, humor and hooks to burn,” Roberta Faceplant recently released three singles “Two Gunslingers” (Tom Petty Cover,) “Keep Talkin’” and “Sunbeams” in February 2023.https://www.robertafaceplant.com/

TIOGA ~ Citywide ~ Jeff Linden
**All shows 21+—valid ID required**Doors: 6:30 PMShow: 7:00 PMTIOGACultivated in the eternal city of Brotherly Love, TIOGA creates music that sounds like if Jack Antonoff and Brandon Flowers went to a karaoke bar and sang Talking Heads songs until they got kicked out and then mumbled David Bowie songs to themselves on the walk home. The group marries their meaningful lyricism and endearing style of alternative indie with a hearty bass and danceable synth-pop sound. Their homebase now extends beyond the confines of Philadelphia, and as far as the Big Apple.https://linktr.ee/tiogatheband CITYWIDECitywide is an alternative rock band based in Philadelphia. The three-year-old quintet is composed of Emily Goldenberg, Ben Manning, Evan Brink, Patrick Cosgrave, and Andrew “Fred” Frederick. The group formed after a happenstance encounter between Ben, former guitarist Ray, and Fred in 2019 at a party hosted by Emily, who became the band’s lead singer and frontperson. Named after the city-wide drink special in Philadelphia (a shot of bourbon and a beer, usually cheap), the group found shared interest in the upbeat modern sounds of The Lumineers, Lake Street Dive, and Mt. Joy. Simultaneously, the group traced its roots to the nostalgia and familiarity found in classic rock. Meddling Kids, the band’s first full-length album, features ten songs that personify the band’s heightened excitement and creativity. All five members contributed to songwriting and arrangements found in the album, ensuring a tasteful blend of textures and melodies. From the hard-hitting percussion and guitar tracks heard in Memoirs of a Prom Queen to the sophisticated vocal interplay in Once Made Man, the group’s latest work reaches a wide range of sonic interests. Bassist Evan Brink engineered and produced the album, which was released in July 2022.MusicJEFF LINDENhttps://jefflinden.bandcamp.com/
