Comprising of Joey Heins (bass/vox), Luke Woods (drums), and Clayton Milano (lead guitar), the band has had a strong bond together since they grew up together in high school, playing in different bands in the PHL and DE music scene, but have now finally come together as one. Expect wild guitar solos, thumpy basslines, and ruckus, hectically organized drum beats. The Last Word is named after the classic pre-prohibition cocktail containing equal parts Chartreuse, Luxardo, lime juice, and Gin. https://open.spotify.com/artist/64EFbm5ljQr1grKfDWW5rJ?si=_ubd-qPES4SaWJsx_XHm2ghttps://instagram.com/thelastwordphl?igshid=MjEwN2IyYWYwYw==https://vm.tiktok.com/ZTREKhg6P/BristoltoothBristoltooth is an American indie rock band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. On their sophomore album, Hold the Door for Strangers, the tenderly bruised alt-country quintet have crafted a collection of compassionate story songs. Patching together ragged indie rock performances with stately strings and electrified solos, the introspective narrators of the band’s cowboy ballads wear emotional scars like a sheriff’s gold star. Led by Philadelphia-based songwriter Pat King, the album tracks a “a battalion of characters, like a populated novel or some enchanting universe that’s deftly and oddly familiar” (FLOOD Magazine) while reminding you that “the cruelty of the world affects us all, and that good times are just around the bend” (Post-Trash). Upon its release, the album was chosen as a “New & Notable” release at Bandcamp. https://labradortunes.bandcamp.com/
Frankie and the Witch Fingers ~ Iguana Death Cult ~ Kelsey Cork and the Swigs

AGE RESTRICTION: All Ages Doors: 7:00 PM Show: 7:30 PMFrankie and the Witch FingersOver the course of five years and five LP’s, L.A. veterans, Frankie and the Witch Fingers, have been mutating and perfecting their high-powered rock n’ roll sound. After touring the USA and Europe, this four-headed beast has shown no signs of relenting—appearing like summoned daemons and dosing crowds with cerebral party fuel. The main attraction of Frankie and the Witch Fingers is their explosive performance. With their rowdy and visceral approach to live shows, each member brings their own devilry to induce an experience of bacchanal proportions. Using absurd lyrical imagery—soaked in hallucination, paranoia, and lust—the band strikes into dark yet playful territory. This sense of radical duality is astir at every turn and time signature change. Airy vocal harmonies over serrated riffs. Low-key shamanic roots under vivid high strangeness. Rambling stretches and punctuated licks. Cutting heads and kissing lips. All this reveals a stereophonic schizophrenia that has flowed throughout their body of work: an ebb & flow of flowery-poppy horror. The band’s latest incarnation is primed to break new sonic ground, edging into the funky and preternatural. Just when you think the trip couldn’t get any weirder, Frankie and the Witch Fingers cranks up the dial, shatters the mundane, and summons new visions. Iguana Death CultAfter the pandemic hit, and the people of the world suddenly grew wary and suspicious of one another, Iguana Death Cult, one of Europe’s most exciting rock exports, became more than just a band—it became therapy. “I think for the first ten times we went to jam,” says guitarist/vocalist Tobias Opschoor, speaking about the process of making the new album Echo Palace, “we just drank wine and talked about it, and just kept on talking for hours, and then were like, ‘OK, I have to go because I have to work tomorrow.’” Taking place at frontman Jeroen Reek’s apartment in the Dutch city of Rotterdam, these gatherings slowly shifted from talking about this surreal chapter of their lives: the days of quiet streets and cramped buildings—to making music about it. “I was living in a really crappy, leaky, ready-for-demolition apartment,” explains Reek, “with just one heat source—like a really old-school, gas stove kind of thing.” Working on cold nights, they had to gather around that heater together—a cozy approach that ultimately quickly got their creative flow going.Kelsey Cork and the SwigsSelf-described as Rock n Roll Kool-Aid, Kelsey Cork and the Swigs mix your favorite music with your best friend’s favorite music to make a tasty punk-blues-psychedelic-garage rock cocktail. Out of Philadelphia, Kelsey Cork and her band have garnered an irrefutable reputation for an energetic live show that you can’t help but dance to. They discard pretension and cynicism to rejoice in what it means to be surviving as a poor and rowdy Spice Girl generation person, seeing Philly as inspiration for both music and attitude. The Swigs let the litter and grime seep into their chords, lyrics, and stage presence, crafting catchy hooks about having a good time living below the poverty line that make you wonder why you ever cared about the facade of high-class elitism. The Swigs do something deliberate with their music; united by a raw anti-perfectionism approach, they shout to the world SHOW ME YOUR TRASH, and you’ll want to answer their call by drinking a citywide, throwing a house party, and dismantling the oligarchy.https://linktr.ee/kelseycorkandtheswigs

Population II ~ The Black Coast ~ The Azures

**All shows 21+—valid ID required** Doors: 6:30 PM Show: 7:00 PMPOPULATION IIPopulation II is a band dedicated to its disengagement, constantly working on refining their imposing, yet unpretentious sound. Masters at both improvised madness and sophisticated composition, Population II delivers a heavy psychedelic rock infused with feverish funk rhythms, a touch of jazz philosophy, an energy reminiscent of punk’s early days, and a love of minor scales that harkens back to the roots of heavy metal. The band’s uniqueness is reinforced by Pierre-Luc’s one of a kind voice and his introspective, nostalgic and offbeat lyrics. Their sources of inspiration are diverse and not limited to music: the Detroit garage rock and psychedelic funk scenes of the late 60s, the Canterbury scene of the same period, the German experimental rock of the 70s and Miles Davis’ eclectic era collide, bound together by the swampy decor of Pointe-Calumet, and the deep friendship and undeniable chemistry of the three musicians. The roots of Population II go back a long way, and are inextricably linked to the members’ teenage memories. After years of jamming to the point of developing a sense of telepathy, the trio began recording a handful of releases that soon caught the attention of John Dwyer, leader of the American band Osees, and the man behind the independent label Castle Face Records. Thus was born À la ô Terre, their first label-released album, which came out in 2020. The band spent the next two years playing shows in Canada and the United States, notably performing at SXSW (Austin, Texas) and Pop Montreal, as well as in New York City, Toronto and Quebec City. The Black Coast https://open.spotify.com/artist/2VVCQowNOiA4iuJPL2AkQv?si=Ej57nTioTm6Mk29Qq65oPAThe Black Coast is a Philadelphia based band combining rock and dirty blues to form a heavy guitar and vocally driven garage rock sound.
