Forever Came Calling ~ Calling All Captains
AGE RESTRICTION: Only Ages 21+ can purchase tickets for this show. NO REFUNDS/EXCHANGES for anyone underage who purchases or attempts to use these tickets. Doors: 7:00 PM Show: 7:30 PM Forever Came Calling Calling All Captains They’ve been labelled everything from pop-punk to emo to post-hardcore, but Calling All Captains cover all of that and more on (e)motion sickness, their explosive and expansive new collection. Born and still based in the suburbs of Edmonton, Alberta, the band has earned accolades in recent years with a string of increasingly potent releases and relentless approach to touring. They’ve headlined cross-Canada treks, shared stages with the likes of The Offspring, Pierce the Veil, Billy Talent, and Our Lady Peace, and performed high-profile festivals from the eclectic Electric Love to the iconic Vans Warped Tour – all propelling them to new plateaus on an impressive career trajectory. In fact, Calling All Captains were just dubbed one of the five acts shaping Canadian pop-punk by the CBC, the country’s national broadcaster. “(e)motion sickness marks the first time we’ve written music as a four-piece, and honestly, it felt very freeing,” begins guitarist / vocalist Brad Bremner, speaking on behalf of bandmates Connor Dawkins (guitar / vocals), Luc Gauthier (lead vocals), and Tim Wilson (drums). “Considering how close we are and the level of trust between us, I think we felt empowered to really push ourselves and experiment with some entirely new sounds.” Since dropping their head-turning debut EP Nothing Grows Here in 2019, Calling All Captains have been remarkably prolific, quickly cementing their status as genre-bending innovators in a crowded and often stagnant scene. They amassed millions of streams with their first full-length, Slowly Getting Better, followed by “Unlike Me,” the lauded lead-up single preceding (e)motion sickness – all while touring tirelessly to set the stage for their most ambitious offering to date.

Full Bush ~ Felix Tandem ~ The Angies
AGE RESTRICTION: Only Ages 21+ can purchase tickets for this show. NO REFUNDS/EXCHANGES for anyone underage who purchases or attempts to use these tickets. Doors: 7:00 PM Show: 7:30 PM Felix Tandem If you’ve ever thought grunge needs more synths and fewer mopey dudes, Felix Tandem might be the band for you. The Nashville freak-rock trio, consisting of Max Sternlicht (he/they – guitar, vocals), Cole Villena (he/him – bass) and Joel Murray (he/him – drums) combines the big guitar sounds of ’90s rockers with earnest, wacky songwriting. The songs examine boredom, the attention economy and how we project ourselves to the world — how do you hold someone’s attention, and how do you decide what’s worth paying attention to yourself? Of course, one way to hold attention is to crank up an electric guitar and rock out. Debut single “Shoplifter” shows off the band’s big, hooky riffs and its refusal to take itself too seriously. On the forthcoming Buyin’ American EP, the band’s goal was to “thoughtfully yeet the sonics of grunge into the 2020s.” They teamed up with producer Tim Craven (DFA1979, Multi Ultra) and doubled down on heavy guitars but also embraced swirly synths and dramatic, outside-the-box production. Lead single “Oh Julien” earnestly rocks through the lingering trauma of a childhood bully, while “Buyin’ American” riffs on classic rock sounds to skewer American exceptionalism. “Rumors,” meanwhile, explores self-doubt, lingering eyes, and body dysmorphia. Full Bush Established in 2017, Philly-based noisy-punk band Full Bush is loud, raw, and unapologetically unpredictable. They write moody songs with dirty, distorted tones, swirling delayed vocals, a bit of silliness and a touch of pop sensibility. Call it tropical doom rock meets a flute stuck in a dishwasher. Apes of the State ~ Sister Wife Sex Strike
AGE RESTRICTION: Only Ages 21+ can purchase tickets for this show. NO REFUNDS/EXCHANGES for anyone underage who purchases or attempts to use these tickets. Doors: 7:00 PM Show: 7:30 PM Apes of the State Apes of the State is an independent folk punk band from Lancaster, PA. As a band, they are driven by DIY ethics with a goal of helping as many people as possible with their music.Their upbeat, mandolin driven songs encompass the full range of human emotion and cover topics such as love, heartbreak, student loan debt, regret, and overcoming addiction. Their most recent release, “They Can’t Kill Us All (2023)” is a 7” split record with Washington band Sister Wife Sex Strike. It leaves no room for questioning the band’s political message and evolution in sound while still sticking to their acoustic roots. Sister Wife Sex Strike Sister Wife Sex Strike is a Seattle-based anarchist folk band composed of best friends Sister Pigeon and Sister Moth. The band’s name is inspired by real life events: in 2021, Pigeon & Moth were sharing a lover and when they found themselves mutually dissatisfied by his efforts, they went on a sex strike to have their demands met. The band name was derived from this event and an ensuing psilocybin-guided camping trip between the two friends produced their eponymous title track. The two have been playing music and writing songs together ever since.
