Lowercase Roses ~ Edye Renee ~ Dan The Movie
AGE RESTRICTION: Only Ages 21+ can purchase tickets for this show. NO REFUNDS/EXCHANGES for anyone underage who purchases or attempts to use these tickets. Doors: 7:00 PM Show: 7:30 PM Lowercase Roses Mover, the fourth full-length album of introspective and artful pop rock from Philadelphia’s Lowercase Roses, explores many angles of its titular noun: emotional changes, shifts through time and space, and the labor connected to moving—which happens to be a job worked by Matt Scheuermann, the project’s songmaker, producer, and primary instrumentalist. Motion paces through the liminal scenes the record’s subjects haunt, and it flows between the doubt and desirousness of Mover’s lyrics. “I cannot overlook the relentless beauty of life,” admits Scheuermann, in spite of the destructive forces humanity wields against itself: capitalism, ecological destruction, genocide, incarceration. “We’re destroying our home and our family. But we were given a home and a family in the first place, and that is incredible.” He sees movement as a way through existence and understanding, a path to learn and grow with the earth. And so Mover is about acknowledging bad things, but also believing in better things. It coalesces into a warm and well-built home—sunny in its quirky decor, soft in its honesty, strongly structured by the supportive bones of Scheuermann’s masterful songcraft. Layers bustle and build, nudge aside or disappear, come back in a differently-tinted form, like musical furniture staged into a lived-in place of refuge. This restless arrangement and rearrangement reveals deft architecture: a beautifully uncanny, suspenseful-yet-steady collection about love, community, and the precarious act of making something meaningful amid end times. Edye Renee Keyboardist Edye Renee has been performing as a solo singer-songwriter for many years. And now, along with Edye on keys, her band members include Philly favorites Claire Quaranta (drummer) and Eliza Becker (vocalist). Influences range from Feist to Radiohead and beyond, and each of them has a deep love and appreciation for the Beatles, which, if you listen closely, can be heard throughout their set. Dan The Movie Dan The Movie is the guitar grand baby of Philly faces: Dan, Jonas, Josh, Eliza and Will, members of TJ Kong & the Atomic Bomb, The Teeth, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, BC Camplight, Squawk Brothers, Lowercase Roses and a Tom Waits cover band.

Doors: 7:00 PM Show: 7:30 PM Tierney Greene Band Tierney Greene and her band of boys came together in early 2025 to play songs old and new, existential and neurotic, from Tierney’s brain and heart. Tierney and the boys have all been playing music throughout the area in various formats for many years. It has been said that the band’s sound includes serene melodies gliding over rhythms that stay in motion, synchronistic moments of coming together and falling apart, delicate melodic lines and chugging, driving, tender, sometimes raucous percussion. A tangible day dream through lyricism that feels like the moment that black-and-white tv meets color. Kenny Hoffman Kenny Hoffman is the lead guitarist, singer, harmonicist, and songwriter of The Coral Gables. Their debut full-length album, Fire at the Water Factory (2025), as well as their two previous EPs are available on all major streaming services and Bandcamp. John Cunningham (bass/vocals) rounded out the lineup in 2025 and has been producing the band’s debut EP ‘Kind of Love’.

J Roddy Walston
AGE RESTRICTION: Only Ages 21+ can purchase tickets for this show. NO REFUNDS/EXCHANGES for anyone underage who purchases or attempts to use these tickets. Doors: 7:00 PM Show: 7:30 PM J Roddy Walston J. Roddy Walston is a force of nature. If his hits like Heavy Bells is are a war cry, then the deep cuts like Boys Can Never Tell are a tac@cal cosmic retreat. For some, his music is a form of religion, psychedelic in its intensity, transforma@ve in its grip on the body, shaking loose something primal that’s been buried too long. It’s not about thinking, It’s about moving, feeling, surrendering. His influences are a riot of contradic@ons: Kurt Cobain’s fury, Nilsson’s fractured sweetness, Zeppelin’s power, and somewhere in there a perverted nod to William Onyeabor’s lonely calculator funk. Cri@cs try to box him in, but Walston can’t be contained—he does chaos, and his live shows do damage, but fortunately his songs can pay the tab. Catch him and his band before he burns it all down again. SOCIALS: https://www.jroddywalston.com/ https://www.instagram.com/jroddywalston/?hl=en https://www.facebook.com/jroddywalstonmusic
