Sungaze
Sungaze is a five-piece alternative band from Cincinnati, Ohio, helmed by songwriters Ian Hilvert and Ivory Snow. Influenced by the atmosphere of shoegaze and the nostalgic pull of midwest emo, their music blends lush, textured guitars with clear vocals and poetic lyricism. Featuring immersive soundscapes, soaring guitar leads, and haunting vocals, a Sungaze show is designed to lift its audience, sending them home feeling lighter than when they arrived.
Sungaze have released four albums independently, with their fourth studio album ‘I’m No Longer Afraid of Heights’ being the most recent (released May 22, 2026 via Softseed Music and Candlepin Records).
